Billionaire described as worth $18 million. That supports a dated report about Mayweather; it does not establish that he wears it now, provide a direct statement from him, or independently verify the watch’s value.

These figures come from Jacob & Co.’s official Billionaire III Rainbow and Billionaire II product pages. The II’s 18-piece edition and diamond setting should not be attributed to the Rainbow, nor should the Rainbow’s sapphire count be treated as a specification for every Billionaire.
What the Billionaire III Rainbow specifications mean
Jacob & Co. lists the Rainbow’s hand-wound JCAM39 as a 167-component movement beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), with a 72-hour power reserve. It displays hours and minutes and uses a one-minute tourbillon. The case is 11 mm high, with sapphire crystal and caseback; the stated water resistance is 30 m (3 atm). These are specifications for the Rainbow version, not a universal spec sheet for the collection.

How much is the Jacob & Co. Billionaire watch?
There is no single current price established here for every Billionaire model. Jacob & Co.’s Japanese Billionaire III product page lists a suggested retail price of 580,800,000 JPY, including tax, and explicitly warns that the price may change. That is a regional, model-specific suggested retail figure; it is not a confirmed current US-dollar price for the original 2016 watch.
The $18 million figure belongs to the 2018 Mayweather report, not to a current official price listing or a verified transaction. It is most accurate to describe it as a reported valuation at that time, rather than as what the original Billionaire costs today.

What makes the Billionaire associated with an $18 million value?
The watch’s identity as a gem-set skeleton tourbillon helps explain its place in high jewelry: the movement is visible, and precious stones are set across the watch. But the available evidence does not independently establish how a particular $18 million valuation was calculated. Jacob & Co.’s own 2025 discussion of diamond-watch workmanship points to factors such as carat weight, diamond quality, stone size, and which surfaces are set; that is brand-authored guidance, not an independent appraisal or proof of the Mayweather example’s value.
Gem totals also need model labels. For instance, the official Rainbow page gives a sapphire count and carat weight, while the Billionaire II page gives different diamond figures. Those specifications describe their respective versions; they do not, by themselves, establish a market price.
