Its 38.3 mm case, 200 m water resistance and independently settable 24-hour hand make it a practical two-time-zone watch—but it is not a Pepsi-bezel substitute in the literal sense: Vulcain’s product pages describe a ceramic bezel without documenting the classic red-and-blue color scheme.
What makes the Skindiver Nautique GMT different?
Vulcain positions the watch as a modern extension of its 1960s Skindiver heritage, adding a second time zone. The brand puts the distinction plainly: “This is not a reissue.” Vulcain’s launch page frames it as a heritage-inspired design rather than a reproduction of a specific vintage reference.

The result is a diver-shaped GMT with relatively restrained dimensions. Vulcain lists a 38.3 mm case diameter and 12.2 mm thickness, plus a double-domed sapphire crystal and 200 m water resistance. Those specifications suit someone who wants a capable sports watch without the larger case dimensions common to many contemporary divers.

Is it actually a Pepsi GMT alternative?
Only in the broad sense that it is a GMT watch. “Pepsi” usually refers to a red-and-blue bezel, but the Vulcain product material reviewed here specifies a bidirectional ceramic bezel and does not establish that color combination. Another Skindiver GMT listing also describes a ceramic bezel. Vulcain’s Black Luminova Beige listing is one example.
That means the comparison is about the kind of watch you want, not a direct specification match with an unnamed rival. A meaningful head-to-head would require a specific Pepsi GMT reference: case size, thickness, bezel color and rotation, GMT-hand setting method, movement, reserve, water resistance, price and availability all vary by model. The available Vulcain listings establish its side of that comparison, but not which competing reference the headline has in mind.

Which versions are listed, and what is known about availability?
Vulcain’s collection page presents GMT Blue and GMT White variants and describes the line as a two-time-zone Skindiver. The Skindiver collection page is the manufacturer’s current variant reference. Timekeepers Club recorded an announcement of white and limited blue variants in September 2025; that dated report provides launch context, not confirmation of current inventory. Timekeepers Club’s Vulcain brand page does not establish live stock or pricing.

Who is this watch for?
- Consider it if you want a smaller-case diver with 200 m water resistance and a mechanically set second time zone.
- Consider it if you like vintage-inspired styling but prefer a contemporary watch rather than a strict reissue.
- Look elsewhere if your priority is specifically a red-and-blue Pepsi bezel; Vulcain’s reviewed product descriptions do not document one.
- Compare exact references before buying if you are choosing between this and another GMT diver, since shared GMT functionality does not make their movements, bezel behavior or dimensions equivalent.
