Its defining idea is a faceted sapphire crystal that Wren says shaped the case and bracelet design. The official catalog listed two limited-edition preorders on October 9, 2026: the Sunray for $2,900 and the Meteorite for $3,400. Those prices and availability can change, so check Wren’s live listing before ordering.
What makes the Wren Vessel different?
The Vessel’s design starts with its crystal rather than treating it as a conventional flat window. Wren says it built the watch around a faceted sapphire crystal; Gear Patrol describes it as rounded and faceted on both sides, with the case and bracelet shaped to carry those lines outward. That crystal-led approach is the main distinction in the launch material. The brand’s contrast with more vintage-oriented integrated-watch designs is positioning, not proof that the wider category has one single design tradition.
Gear Patrol reports that British designer Max Resnick designed the Vessel and credits him with earlier work on the Anoma A1, VPC Type 39VM, and Traska Chronograph. The launch coverage frames the Vessel as a contemporary alternative in the integrated-bracelet category.
Wren Vessel specifications
| Specification | Wren listing or launch coverage |
|---|---|
| Case diameter | 39 mm, according to Wren’s catalog |
| Lug-to-lug | 39 mm, according to Wren’s catalog |
| Thickness | 10.6 mm, according to Wren’s catalog |
| Water resistance | 70 m, according to Wren’s catalog and Gear Patrol’s launch coverage |
| Movement | Sellita SW300, according to Wren; Gear Patrol identifies it as the Swiss-made SW300-1 automatic |
| Power reserve | 56 hours, as reported by Gear Patrol; not stated in Wren’s catalog |
| Crystal and caseback | Faceted sapphire crystal, according to Wren; Gear Patrol reports faceting on both sides and a sapphire display back |
| Case and bracelet material | 904L stainless steel, as reported by Gear Patrol; not stated in Wren’s catalog |
| Bracelet finish and adjustment | Brushed and polished surfaces; tapering bracelet with microadjustment built into the links rather than the clasp, as reported by Gear Patrol |
These are published specifications, not comparative wear or accuracy test results. A 70 m rating places the Vessel outside Wren’s dive-watch positioning; the brand describes it as an integrated sports watch, and it should not be treated as a dive watch simply because Wren is known for divers.

Bracelet and optional rubber strap
Gear Patrol reports that the bracelet tapers and has adjustment built into its links rather than its clasp. It also describes a proprietary push-button release for changing to the optional rubber strap. Wren’s catalog listed that Vessel rubber strap separately for $195; Gear Patrol says it is not included with the watch. Confirm the strap’s current availability and compatibility with the specific edition before buying.
