Zenith announced the 200-piece limited edition on November 17, 2025, as the fourth watch in its tribute series to Lupin the 3rd character Daisuke Jigen. The launch prices were 10,400 CHF and 1,430,000 JPY; Zenith’s US collection page displayed $11,600 on October 8, 2026. That US figure is a regional display price, not confirmation of current stock.
What is the Daisuke Jigen Edition?
Reference 97.L384.400/04.M384 is a limited-edition Chronomaster Revival inspired by the watch worn by Daisuke Jigen in the anime Lupin the 3rd. The character’s watch drew on Zenith’s A384, but it was designed by the anime’s animators and never existed as a real watch. Zenith says Jigen was shown wearing it on two occasions. The new model is therefore a tribute to a fictional, A384-inspired design—not a reproduction of a previously released Jigen watch.
Zenith describes the 2025 release as the fourth chapter in the series. Its November 17, 2025 announcement traces the earlier editions to a 50-piece steel model in 2019, a 200-piece steel “panda” dial in 2020 and a 250-piece split-design edition in 2021. The new titanium edition is limited to 200 pieces. Zenith’s product page identifies the model and reference.

What stands out about the design and movement?
A fictional watch translated into a real Zenith
The Jigen connection is the design premise, not a claim that the anime prop was an actual Zenith model. The 2025 edition interprets that fictional, A384-inspired watch through a 37 mm matte-black titanium case, beige dial, dark counters and beige-toned luminous details. The matching microblasted titanium ladder bracelet carries the case’s subdued finish across the wrist.
A high-frequency automatic chronograph
The El Primero 400 beats at 5 Hz, or 36,000 vibrations per hour, and provides a 50-hour power reserve according to Zenith’s 2025 technical information. The layout adds a small-seconds display, chronograph and date at 4:30. The 5 ATM water-resistance rating is a specification, not a promise that the watch is suitable for every water activity.

How the Jigen edition fits the Revival series
Zenith’s stated chronology makes this the fourth Jigen tribute, following the 2019, 2020 and 2021 releases. Its 200-piece limit matches the 2020 edition’s stated production count, while its case material and color treatment distinguish it from the earlier steel models. The available official specifications establish those differences, but do not by themselves support a broader judgment about relative quality or value.
