The 2025 Zenith x Revolution CHRONOMASTER Revival A3818 Cover Girl Carbon is a 37 mm carbon-composite El Primero chronograph released in three limited configurations: 150 strap-equipped baton-marker watches, 50 strap-equipped watches with Hindu-Arabic numerals, and 10 baton-marker watches with a carbon-composite ladder bracelet. Revolution reported February 2025 launch prices of USD 12,320 for either strap version and USD 27,210 for the bracelet edition; those launch figures are not a guide to current stock or resale prices.
What is the Cover Girl Carbon?
It is the third Zenith–Revolution collaboration built around the A3818, following steel in 2020 and titanium in 2022. Zenith announced the carbon version on February 7, 2025. Its monochrome-black carbon-composite case and dial reinterpret the A3818 as a modern CHRONOMASTER Revival rather than reproduce the materials of the original.
The A3818 debuted in 1971 as a tonneau-shaped variation of the A385, with a ladder-style bracelet associated with Gay Frères. The “Cover Girl” nickname came later, after the watch appeared on the cover of Manfred Rössler’s book ZENITH – Swiss Watchmaking Since 1865. Zenith’s historical product page describes the original as a 37 mm stainless-steel watch and states that 1,000 were made; that total comes from the historical page, which was not directly accessible when checked, so it is best treated as an attributed figure rather than a separately verified count. Zenith’s A3818 historical page.
Revolution described the carbon release as the trilogy’s final chapter; Zenith calls it the third chapter. The carbon model’s materials and limited configurations distinguish it from the earlier collaborations, while the A3818 design and El Primero chronograph remain the common thread.

Which editions were made?
Zenith announced three black-dial configurations. The two strap editions come with both a black carbon-effect Velcro strap and a black embossed ladder-effect calfskin strap, with quick-release spring bars. The bracelet edition pairs baton markers with a Gay Frères-inspired carbon-composite ladder bracelet and also includes a calfskin strap.
| Configuration | Edition size | Launch price reported by Revolution | Published weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Baton markers; Velcro and calfskin straps | 150 | USD 12,320 | 55 g on Velcro, per Revolution |
| Hindu-Arabic numerals; Velcro and calfskin straps | 50 | USD 12,320 | 55 g for the Velcro configuration, per Revolution |
| Baton markers; carbon-composite ladder bracelet and calfskin strap | 10 | USD 27,210 | 59 g, per Revolution |
The prices are Revolution’s reported February 2025 launch prices, not confirmed current offers. Revolution’s listing for the bracelet variant displayed USD 27,210 and “Sold out” when accessed; that status describes that listing at that time, not availability across Zenith, retailers, or the secondary market. How much does it weigh, and how does it compare with the titanium model?
The lightest published figure applies to the Velcro configuration, not every Cover Girl Carbon. Zenith gives 55 g for the complete case-and-bracelet watch, while Revolution distinguishes 55 g on Velcro from 59 g on the carbon ladder bracelet. The difference matters when comparing the strap and bracelet editions.
For the collaboration models, Zenith reports 110.6 g for the 2020 steel version, 78.3 g for the 2022 titanium version, and 55 g for the carbon model. Revolution reports 110.6 g for steel, 78.2 g for titanium, and 55 g on Velcro or 59 g with the carbon bracelet. The titanium figures therefore differ slightly by source; the strap or bracelet configuration also affects the carbon figure.
In practical terms, the titanium predecessor is the closer comparison if you want the same collaboration concept in another lightweight case material. The carbon edition adds two choices that materially change the buying decision: a numerals variant limited to 50 and a 10-piece bracelet version at a substantially higher reported launch price. The steel, titanium, and carbon weight figures are published by Zenith and Revolution.

- Exact configuration: Confirm baton markers or Hindu-Arabic numerals, and whether the watch is supplied with the strap set or carbon ladder bracelet. The announced edition sizes and weights differ by configuration.
- Price context: Treat USD 12,320 and USD 27,210 as Revolution’s reported February 2025 launch prices. They do not establish a current retail offer, a resale value, or a price inclusive of local taxes.
- Availability and seller: Zenith named Revolution and Zenith boutiques as sales channels and identified select authorized retailers for the first edition. Check the seller’s current stock and authorization directly; a sold-out Revolution listing does not establish broader unavailability.
- Condition and completeness for a pre-owned watch: Match the reference and edition to the specific configuration, and confirm which straps or bracelet are included. Do not assume a listing includes every accessory supplied with a new watch.
The launch announcement includes promotional remarks from Revolution founder Wei Koh and Zenith Chief Products Officer Romain Marietta; those are launch statements, not independent testing or a market assessment. No independent sales-performance or market-size figures are established by the cited product sources.
