Diameter is only part of the fit picture: the approximately 50 mm end-to-end length and 16 mm thickness matter too. Dive into Watches describes the case as elongated and oval, and reports a 20 mm bracelet width. Is the Super Sea Wolf 68 really water resistant to 1,000 meters?
Two specialist watch publications report 1,000 meters: Worn & Wound in 2020 and Dive into Watches in 2022. However, a Watch Gang listing for the same reference gives 100 meters. The available reporting does not resolve that discrepancy; the independent specialist sources support the 1,000-meter figure, while the retailer listing is a conflicting outlier.
For an actual purchase, check the watch’s documentation and confirm the rating with Zodiac or a qualified service provider before relying on it for immersion. A published specification is not a substitute for knowing the condition and service history of a particular pre-owned watch.

What did the ZO9509 cost, and is it worth buying?
Worn & Wound and aBlogtoWatch each reported a $1,595 launch price in 2020. That is historical launch pricing, not a verified current retail or resale value. Current official availability and market pricing have not been established, so judge a listing by its actual price, condition, completeness and seller information rather than treating the launch figure as today’s going rate.
The ZO9509 is most compelling for someone who specifically wants its elongated case, coral-inspired orange accents and unusual bezel. Its reported movement and reserve are clear points of interest, but fit should be assessed across width, length and thickness, and the conflicting water-resistance listing deserves verification if depth rating is central to your decision.
