Batavi’s Green listing displayed a €419 sale price against a €578 regular price on October 7, 2026, but was marked out of stock; that page status and pricing can change.
What is the Batavi Atelier?
Batavi is a Dutch boutique watch brand. The company says the Atelier is designed in the Netherlands and manufactured in Hong Kong and France. Its stated design aim is to combine dress-watch and sport-watch cues with vintage influence. Batavi identifies Ugur Mamak as its founder and designer and says he started the brand in 2017 (Batavi About).
The Atelier is a time-only model with a stainless-steel case, polished concave bezel, flat sapphire crystal, Super-LumiNova lume, skeleton hands, stainless-steel caseback and quick-release stainless-steel bracelet, according to Batavi’s collection specifications (Batavi Atelier collection). The dial’s raised fish-scale pattern gives the otherwise restrained case a more expressive focal point.
How does the case wear?
Batavi specifies a 39 mm case diameter, 46 mm lug-to-lug length and 11 mm thickness. The 20 mm lug width is relevant if you are comparing straps or the watch against pieces you already own. These measurements suggest a moderate case size, but lug-to-lug length and wrist shape can matter as much as diameter; dimensions alone cannot guarantee fit.

In its independent first look, Fratello broadly corroborates the dimensions and movement. Its reviewer found the case design original, while describing the crown as narrow and the brushing as somewhat coarse. Those are subjective impressions rather than measured defects (Fratello’s Batavi Atelier first look).
What are the dial options and legibility like?
Batavi describes the dial as a three-dimensional fish-scale pattern and pairs it with skeleton hands and Super-LumiNova. Fratello names three dial colors: Aquamarine (blue), Dune (gray-brown) and Rock (purple). The texture and color make the dial the collection’s defining visual feature, rather than a plain, formal face. The available sources do not provide a controlled legibility assessment, so the effect of the pattern and hands is best judged in person or in current product photographs.

What movement does the Atelier use?
The watch uses an automatic Miyota 9039. Batavi states a 44-hour power reserve; Fratello gives an approximate range of 42–44 hours and reports a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. These are published specifications and editorial reporting, not results from an independent performance test.
Can you change the bracelet, and is it water resistant?
The supplied stainless-steel bracelet uses quick-release bars, and the stated lug width is 20 mm. Fratello notes that a commonly sized 20 mm strap can be fitted, but lug width by itself does not guarantee that every strap will attach correctly. Check the replacement strap’s end shape and attachment arrangement before buying.

What does the Batavi Atelier cost, and is it available?
On October 7, 2026, Batavi’s official Atelier Green product page displayed a regular price of €578 and a sale price of €419, while marking that variant “Out of Stock” (Batavi Atelier Green product page). Those are page-displayed values observed on that date, not guaranteed checkout prices, and the listing does not establish availability of every dial variant. Check the live page for current stock and price before making a purchase decision.

Who should consider the Batavi Atelier?
The Atelier is worth considering if you want a compactly sized automatic with a distinctive textured dial, a familiar Miyota movement and a bracelet that can be swapped for a 20 mm strap when attachment compatibility is confirmed. It may be less compelling if your priority is a very plain dial or if you want independent test evidence for movement performance or water resistance. Because current stock is uncertain, availability should be checked directly rather than assumed.
