The Bōken Nomad is a 300 m-rated automatic dive watch with a Grade 2 titanium case and a Sellita SW200 movement. Published specifications give it a 42 mm case, 13.4 mm thickness and 48.5 mm lug-to-lug measurement. Its proportions, historical pricing and uncertain current availability are the key considerations for anyone looking at the model today.

These are reported product specifications, not independent test results. The dimensions are useful for estimating fit, but wrist shape and the bracelet’s articulation also affect how a watch wears.
How large does the Nomad wear?
The 42 mm diameter and 48.5 mm lug-to-lug make the Nomad a substantial watch on paper; thickness is 13.4 mm. A 12&60 reviewer likewise described it as large on wrist. That reviewer reported 129 g for their bracelet sample after sizing it to a 7.25-inch wrist, so the weight is specific to that sample and setup rather than a universal figure. The same reviewer criticized the clasp construction; that is a subjective hands-on assessment, not a measured performance result.

For a fit comparison with another dive watch, look beyond diameter: compare lug-to-lug and thickness, then consider case material and the weight of the exact bracelet or strap configuration. Titanium is the Nomad’s case material, but the cited sample weight is for a bracelet-equipped watch.
Bracelet, rubber strap and replacement options
Time+Tide reports that the Nomad was offered with a titanium bracelet and matching rubber strap, with quick-release spring bars and a 22 mm lug width. A replacement 22 mm watch strap may be an option, but width alone does not guarantee compatibility: check the spring-bar or attachment arrangement and confirm the strap length suits your wrist.
When shopping for an aftermarket strap for a 22 mm lug, verify the product’s stated width and attachment details before ordering. Quick-release bars can make strap changes simpler, but a replacement still needs to fit the watch’s lugs and sit securely.
Price and whether the Bōken Nomad is still available
Oracle Time reported a starting price of £895 in an article dated 10 February 2024. That is a historical reported price, not a verified current price. The BŌKEN homepage retrieved on 4 October 2026 features the Odyssey and Breacher and does not establish that the Nomad remains on sale. Current production status, stock and pricing are therefore unconfirmed.

BŌKEN’s link hub identifies Scotland’s Lifestyle Watches as its first authorized retailer, and Watch Specialists reported carrying BŌKEN in 2024. Those references do not confirm that either retailer currently has a Nomad in stock. Check directly with BŌKEN or a retailer before relying on an old listing or quoted price.

Coverage does not describe a single unchanged selection. Time+Tide’s 2023 article refers to four dial variations; Oracle Time’s 2024 specifications name five bezel-and-dial versions. The available evidence supports those dated descriptions, not a claim about which variants can be bought now.
What to compare before choosing one
If weighing the Nomad against another dive watch, compare the figures and practical details that affect your use rather than treating any one specification as proof of overall superiority:
