The Christopher Ward C60 Clipper GMT is a 707-piece Pan Am collaboration with an airport-code bezel, an independently adjustable GMT hand and 300 m water resistance. It draws on the airline’s jet-age history and the visual language of travel watches, but it is a Christopher Ward—not a Rolex GMT-Master or a demonstrated technical equivalent.
What makes the C60 Clipper GMT a Pan Am watch?
Christopher Ward built the C60 Clipper GMT around Pan Am branding and references to the airline’s early aviation history. The edition is limited to 707 pieces, a nod to the Boeing 707. Its design also includes a date-wheel marking of “26,” referencing 26 October 1958, when Pan Am began transatlantic jet service, and a red EYW airport code for Key West, the location associated with the airline’s first flight in 1927. These details are described in Fratello’s hands-on review and Christopher Ward’s official C60 Clipper GMT launch material.
Fratello identifies the 1958 milestone flight as Clipper America, a Boeing 707 flying from Idlewild—now JFK—to Paris–Le Bourget. The watch’s Pan Am colors and GMT styling evoke the airline’s association in watch history with the Rolex GMT-Master. That is historical and visual context, not evidence that this Christopher Ward is a Rolex replacement or equivalent.
How the GMT and airport-code bezel work
The watch uses an independently adjustable 24-hour GMT hand, a 24-hour rehaut and a bidirectional bezel marked with airport codes. The combination is intended to make it possible to read time across listed destinations: set the GMT hand to GMT+0, align it with the relevant bezel marker, then use the 24-hour rehaut to interpret the time for the city. Hodinkee’s launch report describes the bezel as representing 24 Pan Am destinations, including Dallas, La Paz and Key West.

The city codes make the bezel more distinctive than a conventional numeric GMT scale, but they may take a little learning if you do not already recognize the destinations. Fratello’s reviewer found time easy to read in the two defined zones and described the bezel’s 24-click action as defined but soft. That is one reviewer’s impression, not a measured specification.

These are published specifications, not measurements from an independent test. The 300 m rating gives the watch a diver-style capability alongside its aviation and travel design; it should not be confused with the GMT function or treated as proof of performance beyond the stated rating.

How it wears: substantial, with strap-dependent impressions
At 42 mm across and 49.3 mm lug to lug, the C60 Clipper GMT has a notable wrist presence. Fratello writer Jorg Weppelink reported that the nearly 50 mm lug-to-lug length fit his 18.5 cm wrist comfortably, while cautioning that it may not suit smaller wrists.
T3 writer Sam Cross reported wearing the watch for a week. He found it comfortable on the NATO-style strap, though he said the strap bowed around the built-in pins and added heft; he preferred the bracelet. He considered the case larger than his usual preference but balanced. Those are individual wear impressions, not a guarantee of fit for another wrist.

T3 and Fratello reported launch pricing of £1,450, €1,895 and US$1,995; Hodinkee also reported US$1,995. These are publication-era launch prices from January and February 2026, not verified current prices. Hodinkee reported direct availability at launch, but current stock and marketplace listings have not been established.
