Breitling’s headline-making offer is not a watch that anyone can unlock simply by purchasing an Aston Martin. The bespoke Super Chronomat program announced on 8 October 2026 is available exclusively to owners of the Aston Martin Valhalla. The announcement does not say that a new car order is required, disclose a watch price, explain how ownership is verified, or provide a public ordering route.
What the exclusive Breitling offer actually is
The program gives eligible Valhalla owners access to a dedicated configurator for a personalized Super Chronomat. Aston Martin says Valhalla production is capped at 999 examples worldwide, but that figure is a production ceiling rather than a confirmed count of delivered cars or currently eligible owners.

The partnership announcement describes the watch as being inspired by each customer’s own Valhalla. Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman called it “a unique opportunity to commission a bespoke timepiece inspired by their own Valhalla.” Breitling CEO Georges Kern said the company had opened the Super Chronomat design process “exclusively to Valhalla owners.”

The two Super Chronomat models available to Valhalla owners
| Model | Format and case | Notable specification | Personalization described |
|---|---|---|---|
| Super Chronomat B19 44 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph | 44 mm titanium case | Carbon-fiber dial, Rouleaux bracelet, perpetual-calendar chronograph, red-gold rotor, 96-hour power reserve | Rehaut and seconds-hand color, counter-hand color, and rotor engraving |
| Super Chronomat Automatic 38 | 38 mm stainless-steel case | Textured carbon-fiber dial, diamond-set bezel, automatic three-hand display, date at six o’clock, Rouleaux bracelet | Rehaut and hands color, plus caseback engraving |
These are manufacturer descriptions rather than independent test results. The two watches also target different preferences: the 44 mm model combines a high-complication calendar and chronograph display, while the 38 mm version is a simpler automatic time-and-date watch with a smaller case and jewelry-style bezel.
What has not been disclosed
- No price is stated for either bespoke Super Chronomat.
- No public checkout, order form, or retailer route is identified.
- The announcement does not explain whether ownership is checked through vehicle records, a dealer, or another authentication process.
- There is no confirmation that a Valhalla deposit holder, lessee, or prospective buyer qualifies; the published wording says “owners.”
Do not confuse it with the DB5 tribute watches
Breitling’s Top Time B01 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Aston Martin DB5 collection is a separate, publicly listed product. It is not the Valhalla-owner commissioning program and does not carry the same eligibility restriction. The DB5 release comprises three limited editions, each with a different material, quantity, and UK retail price.
| Reference | Material and design | Edition size | UK price listed by Breitling |
|---|---|---|---|
| AB0178121G1X1 | Steel; silver-toned dial, wooden inner bezel, hand-colored gradient leather strap | 1,022 pieces | GBP 8,650 |
| PB0178121B1X1 | Steel and platinum; black lacquered dial and platinum bezel | 315 pieces | GBP 14,400 |
| RB0178131B1X1 | 18k red gold and onyx; natural onyx dial and wooden inner bezel | 250 individually numbered pieces | GBP 35,100 |
The prices are UK-market retail figures shown on Breitling’s page as accessed on 13 October 2026. They can change and should not be treated as worldwide pricing. Availability is also separate from the Valhalla program.

Movement shared by the DB5 editions
All three DB5 tribute watches use Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, described by the manufacturer as a COSC-certified chronograph with a 70-hour power reserve. That movement specification applies to the DB5 collection; it does not describe both bespoke Super Chronomat models, which use different formats and specifications.
How the partnership led to the two releases
- 5 February 2026: Aston Martin announced Breitling as its Official Watch Partner in a multi-year partnership that also covers the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. The announcement pointed to a first timepiece in 2026.
- 20 July 2026: The partners introduced the Top Time B01 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Aston Martin DB5, the limited collection listed above. Georges Kern said the DB5’s design “still feels as relevant today as it did in the 1960s.”
- 8 October 2026: Aston Martin and Breitling announced the bespoke Super Chronomat program restricted to Valhalla owners.
The sequence explains why two different products now appear in coverage of the partnership: the DB5 is a conventional limited-edition retail launch, while the Valhalla watch is a personalized owner benefit with no published public price.
What the headline gets right—and wrong
Right: access is exceptionally restricted
The official release expressly limits the bespoke design process to Valhalla owners. With production limited to 999 cars worldwide, the potential pool is inherently small, although the announcement does not establish how many cars have been delivered or how many owners have commissioned watches.

Wrong: buying any Aston Martin is not enough
The published eligibility language is narrower than “Aston Martin owners.” It names Valhalla owners specifically. Nothing in the announcement establishes eligibility for owners of other Aston Martin models, nor does it say that purchasing a new car solely to obtain the watch is a required or practical route.
Still unknown: the commercial details
Because Breitling has not published a price or an open ordering path for the bespoke pieces, a prospective owner cannot calculate the total cost, compare it with the DB5 watches, or confirm delivery timing from the announcement alone. Those details must come through the brand or an authorized Aston Martin/Breitling contact when the program is offered to an owner.

Bottom line for prospective buyers
If you own an Aston Martin Valhalla, the October announcement describes an invitation to configure one of two bespoke Super Chronomats, with model-specific color and engraving options. If you own another Aston Martin—or are considering buying one—the published material does not establish access. The separately available DB5 tribute watches are the products with public references, edition sizes, and UK prices; they should not be presented as the same watch or the same eligibility program.
