The evidence here does not establish a complete, suffix-by-suffix specification comparison for every watch called a DW-5600.

Functions and specifications depend on the exact reference
Casio Singapore’s product record for the DW-5600E-1VDF lists a mineral-glass face, resin case, shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, and standard digital watch functions. Those details describe that regional reference, not every DW-5600E suffix or every 5600-family watch. The product page is also marked “Old Model,” so it is not proof of current stock in Singapore or elsewhere.

Choose the DW-5600E-1V family if you want the documented classic functions
If your goal is a classic square G-SHOCK with the functions listed above, the DW-5600E-1V family is a defensible choice, provided you confirm that the listing is for the reference you intend to buy and that it is available in your market. The Singapore page is labelled “Old Model”; check a local Casio or authorized retailer listing rather than assuming it is currently sold everywhere.

Consider an older DW-5600C only with the exact watch in view
If you are looking at a vintage DW-5600C, judge that individual watch rather than assuming its condition or specifications from the family name. Its age, maintenance and seller terms matter to the purchase, and the model shorthand alone does not establish a current equivalent or a like-for-like specification comparison.

- Complete model reference: Record the full suffix, not just “DW-5600.”
