Casio’s three new MTD-145D watches are now listed on its UK retail site with Add to Bag and store-stock controls. The black MTD-145D-1AV, blue MTD-145D-2AV and green MTD-145D-3AV each cost £85. Stock and delivery can change quickly, so check the live Casio UK page or a local store before ordering.
UK availability and price
Notebookcheck reported on 29 September 2026 that Casio had added all three aluminium-bezel models to its UK range at £85 each, although purchase availability was still pending at the time. Casio’s current UK product pages now expose Add to Bag and in-store-stock controls, indicating active retail listings. That does not guarantee every colour is available in every location: confirm the displayed stock status, delivery estimate and store inventory when you buy.

What changes between the black, blue and green watches?
Colour is the principal difference
The three references share the same case, bracelet, movement, dimensions and water-resistance rating. Selection is therefore mainly about the dial and bezel colour: black on the MTD-145D-1AV, blue on the MTD-145D-2AV and green on the MTD-145D-3AV.

Common construction
Each watch uses a stainless-steel case and bracelet with a rotating aluminium bezel. The aluminium insert supplies the coloured diver-style surround, while the steel construction provides the more substantial feel expected from a metal bracelet watch.

Are these real dive watches?
They are best described as diver-style watches, not dedicated scuba instruments. The 50 m (5 bar) rating is suitable for ordinary water exposure such as rain, hand-washing and cautious surface swimming, but it is below the ratings commonly used for purpose-built dive watches. The available specifications do not establish ISO 6425 certification, so do not treat the MTD-145D as a certified dive watch or assume it is suitable for scuba diving.

The rotating aluminium bezel reinforces the dive-watch look and can provide a timing reference, but a bezel alone does not confer professional dive capability. For underwater use, follow Casio’s stated water-resistance guidance and choose equipment explicitly specified and certified for the activity.

At 47.5 mm long, 43.2 mm wide and 10.3 mm thick, the MTD-145D has a broad footprint despite its relatively slim thickness. The 128 g steel-bracelet weight will feel noticeable compared with a resin Casio, while the 43.2 mm width may overhang smaller wrists. Try the bracelet on, or check the retailer’s return policy, if your wrist is below average size. The screw-lock back and three-hand quartz layout favour low-maintenance daily wear rather than a complicated instrument display.

Crystal wording to watch
Casio’s UK page contains conflicting crystal descriptions. Its marketing paragraph calls the crystal “scratch-resistant sapphire crystal,” but the specification table identifies it as “Mineral Glass.” Until Casio confirms which statement applies to these references, rely on the specification-table entry and assume mineral glass. Sapphire and mineral glass have different scratch resistance, so this distinction matters when comparing prices or deciding whether the watch needs extra protection.
Battery and accuracy expectations
Casio estimates approximately three years from one SR920SW cell. That is an approximate service interval, not a guarantee: actual life depends on the cell and operating conditions. The stated quartz accuracy is ±20 seconds per month, so the watch can gain or lose up to roughly 20 seconds in a typical month while remaining within Casio’s specification.
