Citizen’s Promaster Eco-Drive Professional Diver 300m pairs the light-powered Cal. E365 with a claimed 365-day running time after a full charge. The BN1024-01E and BN1024-01Z are black- and crimson-red-dial versions of the same 300m saturation-diving model family. Citizen announced an April 2025 launch; that schedule does not confirm current availability.
What is the Citizen Promaster Professional Diver 300m?
These are Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive watches built for saturation diving, with a helium escape valve and a stated 300m water-resistance rating. Citizen’s specifications describe the watch; they are not independent water-resistance or performance test results.
The model references are BN1024-01E and BN1024-01Z. Citizen’s launch announcement identifies black and crimson-red dial versions, while its US product page covers the red-dial BN1024-01Z. Citizen’s 2025 announcement projected an April 2025 launch, rather than verifying present-day stock.
How long does the E365 movement run?
Citizen specifies Cal. E365, a light-powered Eco-Drive movement with a claimed 365-day running time after a full charge. Citizen’s global product page states: “This model is fitted with the Caliber E365, a state-of-the-art light-powered movement that runs for an entire year on just a single full charge.” This is manufacturer copy, not an independently reproduced measurement.

The 2025 announcement also gives accuracy as ±15 seconds per month. That is Citizen’s stated specification, not a timing-test result. The US product page lists a one-year power reserve for the BN1024-01Z as well.

Regional product descriptions differ in how they identify the band: the announcement calls it a BENEBiOL band, while the US listing calls the BN1024-01Z strap BENEBiOL PU. What the specifications do—and do not—establish
The year-long running-time claim is the key distinction of the E365 movement, alongside Eco-Drive light power. It does not establish how the watch performs in a particular wearer’s conditions or how quickly it charges in everyday use. Likewise, Citizen’s 300m saturation-diving designation and helium escape valve describe the intended diving capability; they are not a substitute for independent testing or confirmation that a specific watch has been maintained appropriately.
The 46mm diameter and 16.3mm thickness are design figures, not evidence of how the watch wears on an individual wrist. The official material reviewed here does not provide hands-on comfort impressions, comparative timing tests, or an independent head-to-head evaluation against other divers.
