IFL Watches says it bought the original watch at retail and then modified it, including its dial: a hand-painted astronaut rides cosmic waves, with no two dials alike. IFL also states that the customization is not authorized or endorsed by Citizen.
What is the Citizen Tsuyosa Space Surfer?
IFL Watches describes the Space Surfer Concept as a limited-edition custom watch built on the Citizen Tsuyosa Automatic reference NJ0150-56E. Its defining feature is the hand-painted dial, which depicts an astronaut surfing waves associated with a distant planet’s rings. IFL says each dial is unique.
The maker attribution matters: IFL identifies itself as an independent customization studio and says it modified the watch after its original retail purchase. The product page states, “This watch has been customized after original retail purchase.” It also says the original dial was modified or replaced and that Citizen did not perform, authorize, or endorse the work. What are the base watch and specifications?
IFL identifies NJ0150-56E as the reference of the original base watch. Its page lists the following specifications for the customized watch; these are seller-provided details.

Citizen’s official specification page for NJ0150-56A also lists Caliber 8210, a 40 mm stainless-steel case, sapphire crystal, 50 m water resistance, a date display, and a 42-hour power reserve. That is a different suffix and dial configuration from IFL’s stated NJ0150-56E base reference; its details should not be treated as independent confirmation of every Space Surfer specification. How limited is the edition, and is it available?
IFL describes the Space Surfer as a 100-piece worldwide edition. That quantity is IFL’s product-page claim; the available information does not independently verify the count, and the page does not state a year for it.

IFL listed the price at €890, with taxes and VAT included. This is a volatile listing price, not a guaranteed current price; confirm it with IFL before buying.

The package includes IFL-branded packaging and IFL warranty documentation, not the original manufacturer’s packaging. IFL says its two-year warranty covers dial installation, craftsmanship, and functional performance. Its product page also states that the manufacturer’s warranty does not apply after third-party modification. A standard Tsuyosa and the Space Surfer share a Citizen base-watch connection, but they are not interchangeable listings. Compare the exact reference and dial, who made or modified the watch, the current price and availability, the warranty provider and coverage, and whether an edition-size claim comes from the seller.
