What is the Daniel Roth Endurer Chronosprint?
The Endurer Chronosprint is a steel watch from the Daniel Roth collection presented by Bulgari. It adapts the collection’s elliptical case into a more rugged design. The 2010 presentation describes Staybrite steel, softened case angles, a concave bezel secured by six screws, a black satin-brushed dial and a large date at 12 o’clock. The crystal is sapphire.
A collector review says the model debuted under the Daniel Roth name at Baselworld 2009 and was presented under Bulgari in 2010. That is the chronology reported by the reviewer, rather than evidence of when production began or ended. The available historical presentations and auction listings do not establish whether the watch is currently produced, available at retail, or supported by official service.
How does the Chronosprint function work?
Unlike a conventional chronograph with separate elapsed-seconds and elapsed-minutes subdials, the Chronosprint indicates elapsed hours and minutes with two hands mounted on a single arbor. The Bulgari Daniel Roth Collection Baselworld 2010 presentation, reproduced by WatchProSite, says one press of the ergonomically notched button at 7:30 positions the hands at 12 o’clock and starts the chronograph. The design is intended to measure longer intervals; the cited description does not identify an elapsed-seconds display.

That distinction matters when judging fit: do not treat 56 mm as the watch’s case diameter. The cited material clarifies the measurement as lug-to-lug but does not provide a case-diameter figure.

References and configurations vary
Auction catalogues show individual examples rather than one universal configuration. Sotheby’s described a circa-2014 stainless-steel reference BRE 56 S CHS with DR1306 automatic movement, 33 jewels, a black dial, sapphire display back and rubber strap. Bonhams catalogued a circa-2012 reference 210.Y with a black ridged dial, DR1306 automatic movement and Bulgari rubber strap. These listings are useful for identifying documented examples, but their details should not be generalized to every Endurer Chronosprint.
Straps, fit and ownership checks
A 2012 collector review says the Endurer could be fitted with rubber, alligator or metal bracelet options. The reviewer describes screw-in pins and says changing a strap requires two screwdrivers. This is an account by a reviewer, not a service procedure or confirmation that all references use identical hardware.

Before replacing a strap, confirm compatibility against the exact reference and attachment. If the fit or screw-in hardware is uncertain, ask an experienced watchmaker rather than risking damage to the case or fasteners. A documented rubber strap on an auction example establishes that configuration for that watch, not a universal replacement size.

Sotheby’s gave its reference BRE 56 S CHS lot an estimate of HKD 40,000–60,000 in 2023. That is an estimate for one particular lot, not a confirmed sale price, current quote or general market range.
