The Debaufre GMT Red/Blue was a 42 mm automatic GMT watch documented by the company in 2010. Its stated features included a separately set 24-hour hand and a bidirectional bezel. The available record does not establish whether the watch is currently sold, what it costs today, or how an example performs on the wrist, so this is a historical-model review rather than a hands-on test.
What is the Debaufre GMT Red/Blue?
Debaufre’s November 17, 2010 company blog described a 42 mm GMT range in three color variants: Blue/Red (Pepsi), Black/Red, and Black. The red-and-blue version is the model most often meant by “Debaufre Pepsi GMT.” The company wrote, “The 42mm GMTs are in from Switzerland and ready to ship.” That statement records the company’s position at the time, not present-day availability. Debaufre Watch Blog, November 17, 2010.
aBlogtoWatch’s February 6, 2011 video description also identifies a 42 mm Rolex Pepsi-dial homage with a Swiss automatic GMT movement. That is description-level information; it does not establish independent measurements or a hands-on test result. aBlogtoWatch, February 6, 2011.
What movement does the Debaufre GMT Red/Blue use?
Debaufre’s 2010 post names the movement as an ETA 2983 and says the 24-hour hand is independently set. The company’s spelling is retained here; the available evidence does not justify silently substituting a different caliber designation. The sources do not provide further movement specifications, accuracy figures, or timing-test results.

Do not confuse this watch with the separate Debaufre Nav B-Uhr GMT. A forum search excerpt about that other model refers to an ETA 2893 and an inner 24-hour display; those details are not evidence about the red/blue 42 mm watch.
How does the Debaufre GMT Red/Blue work?
The documented arrangement combines a separately set 24-hour hand with a bidirectional bezel. The independent hand provides a second time-zone indication in principle, while the bezel can be turned in either direction. The company’s post does not explain a specific setting sequence or provide enough detail to verify additional operating instructions, so owners should rely on documentation for the individual watch rather than infer a procedure from the short description.
Bezel and lume-dot options
Debaufre said the standard bezel had a lume dot at 12 o’clock and that a Rolex-style version without the dot could be requested. This is a historical configuration note; the sources do not establish which option was fitted to any particular surviving example or verify other bezel construction details.
Is the Debaufre GMT a 42 mm watch?
Yes: Debaufre identified this GMT line as 42 mm in its 2010 post. That is the manufacturer’s stated case diameter, not an independent measurement. The source does not specify other case dimensions, including thickness or lug width.

Is the Debaufre Pepsi GMT still available?
Current availability is not confirmed by the available sources. In a February 23, 2012 update, Debaufre said it had temporarily suspended sales of the 39 mm GMT while continuing to offer GMT models on preorder, with an estimated 4–6 weeks before arrival at its warehouse. Those were historical terms, not a current listing or delivery estimate. Debaufre Watch Blog, February 23, 2012.
The only price located for the range is $625 — Debaufre Watch Blog, 2010. It is a dated manufacturer-advertised line price, not a current asking price or estimate of resale value. The sources also do not confirm current warranty terms, strap compatibility, or a present-day sales channel.
What can—and can’t—be concluded from this review?
The historical material supports a specific, limited description: a 42 mm red/blue Debaufre GMT, named by the manufacturer as using an ETA 2983, with a separately set 24-hour hand, a bidirectional bezel, and a standard lume dot that could be omitted on request. The company also made quality-control and one-year-warranty claims in 2010, but these are historical manufacturer statements, not independent test results or terms that can be assumed to apply now.
No firsthand test, current product listing, water-resistance verification, or performance measurement is established here. A buyer considering a used example would need to verify its movement, condition, configuration, included paperwork, and seller’s current terms individually.
