Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe 2021 DOXA SUB 600T brought the 1980s-associated design back in stainless steel as a non-limited collection, after a limited titanium Pacific Blue edition. It combines a 40 mm case with a manufacturer-stated 600 m water-resistance rating, and lets buyers vary dial color, bezel insert, and strap or bracelet. Monochrome Watches’ contemporaneous review described a substantial, angular watch with strong wrist presence; that is its assessment, not a universal fit verdict.
What changed with the 2021 SUB 600T
DOXA presents the SUB 600T as a revival of a design associated with the 1980s. The 2021 stainless-steel collection followed the limited titanium SUB 600T Pacific Blue and was described as a non-limited addition to the SUB range. DOXA’s collection description lists steel or black ceramic bezel inserts, seven colors, and a steel bracelet or matching NATO strap. DOXA’s SUB 600T collection page
There is a color-count mismatch between the official collection description and Monochrome’s 2021 review: DOXA says seven colors, while Monochrome names six—Orange Professional, Silver Searambler, Black Sharkhunter, Navy Blue Caribbean, Yellow Divingstar, and Turquoise Aquamarine. Monochrome counts 24 combinations from those six colors, two attachment choices, and two bezel choices. The sources do not explain the discrepancy, so confirm which colors are offered for the specific configuration and market you are considering.
Specifications and construction
DOXA’s current SUB 600T Professional product page lists a Swiss automatic, self-winding movement with 38 hours of power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). It gives a 40.00 mm case diameter, 47.60 mm length, and 14.15 mm height. Construction includes a stainless-steel case, screw-down caseback and crown, and sapphire crystal. DOXA states water resistance of 60 ATM / 600 m / 1,970 ft; this is the manufacturer’s rating, not an independent dive-test result. DOXA SUB 600T Professional specifications

Monochrome’s 2021 review identifies the movement as the Sellita SW 200-1, with 26 jewels, 4 Hz frequency, and a 38-hour reserve. The current DOXA product copy cited above describes the movement but does not name its caliber, so the caliber and jewel count here are attributed to Monochrome. What Monochrome’s review says about wearing it
Monochrome characterizes the case as blocky and angular, with notable presence and weight on the wrist. Its review says, “It’s not a particularly small watch, primarily due to the shape of its case and its unmistakable weight on the wrist.” That is the publication’s qualitative impression; the cited review does not provide a measured weight or establish how the watch will fit every wrist.

The review also points to a serrated bezel edge for grip, a matte dial, luminous indexes, an oversized minute hand, and a date at three o’clock. It notes a matching blue ceramic bezel on the navy model, while ceramic inserts on other colors are black. Monochrome’s video description frames the design as a rugged, powerful return of a vintage model and says it reviewed the collection; this is the publisher’s framing, not independent performance evidence. How to choose a color, bezel, and attachment
Start with the dial color
The named options in Monochrome’s review range from the bright Orange Professional and Yellow Divingstar to Silver Searambler, Black Sharkhunter, Navy Blue Caribbean, and Turquoise Aquamarine. Choose by the look you want and how readily you can read the hands and markers against that dial; the cited review does not provide comparative legibility measurements. Because the official collection page lists seven colors but the review names six, verify the live color selection for your region rather than assuming every listed dial is available in every configuration.

- SR626SW 3-YEAR BATTERY | MINERAL GLASS | FOLD-OVER CLASP — Powered by an SR626SW battery with an approximate 3-year life, the MTP-VD01D-2BV requires minimal maintenance for years of reliable daily use. Mineral glass protects the blue dial from everyday scratches. Available in Blue (MTP-VD01D-2BV), Black (MTP-VD01D-1BV), White (MTP-VD01D-7EV), and Gold-tone (MTP-VD01G-1BV) variants.
Choose steel or ceramic bezel by appearance
The steel-inlay option keeps the bezel visually closer to the stainless-steel case. Ceramic gives the bezel a different visual accent: Monochrome notes that the navy version has a matching blue ceramic insert, whereas ceramic inserts on the other reviewed colors are black. Both are unidirectional bezel options in DOXA’s current product description; the sources do not establish a comparative durability or performance advantage.
Pick the bracelet or NATO strap
The steel bracelet adds a folding clasp and wetsuit extension; the NATO option uses a pin buckle and quick-release spring bars. Monochrome’s 2021 launch pricing showed a CHF 40 increase for the bracelet over rubber at either bezel level. That historical comparison does not establish today’s price difference or availability. The official collection page describes matching NATO straps, while the current Professional page gives details for a NATO strap; check the exact product listing for the configuration being sold.

What this review can—and cannot—establish
The manufacturer’s current specification page establishes the stated dimensions, movement behavior, construction details, and 600 m rating. Monochrome supplies the historical launch prices and its own visual and wearing impressions. Neither source, as cited here, establishes independent accuracy results, measured wrist weight, or independent dive testing. Treat the water-resistance figure as DOXA’s specification and the on-wrist comments as one publication’s assessment.
