Its British twist is in the design language and colour cues—not a claim that the watch is manufactured in Britain. Farer lists it as a 39.5mm watch with a date, 100m water resistance and a Sellita SW330-2 movement.
What makes the Farer Lander IV GMT British?
Farer frames the Lander IV around British design cues, most visibly the GMT hand in British pillar-box red. The seconds hand adds a contrasting burnt orange, while a bronze cap insert tops the crown. These details sit against a sea-green sunray dial with a triple-step construction, ghost-white luminous numerals, dual-time markers and a colour-matched date window.
The hour and minute hands are described by Farer as astronaut silver with luminous infill. The result is a distinctive colour-led design, but the movement is Swiss-made and the product information does not establish that the watch is wholly manufactured in Britain.
How the GMT and date functions work
The Lander IV is a dual-time watch with a 24-hour indication, alongside hours, minutes and sweep seconds. Farer lists stop seconds for precision setting and quick date correction. The product page does not provide an independent assessment of accuracy or a hands-on account of operation.

These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. The 100m/10 ATM rating is Farer’s stated water-resistance figure; it should not be read as a guarantee of suitability for every water activity.
Price and availability
Farer’s product page listed the Lander IV at £1,375 and displayed “RETURNS SPRING 2027” when checked on October 8, 2026. The notice does not give an exact return date. Price, strap selection and availability can change, so check the official Farer product page for the current listing.

Farer shows leather, rubber and Milanese strap options, and the watch has a 20mm lug width. Confirm the specific strap’s fit and availability before buying; the listed width alone does not establish compatibility with every strap.
