What is the Inercy Compass?
The Compass is a two-crown wristwatch built around an inner rotating bezel that combines a timing scale with the four cardinal directions. Monochrome Watches describes the bezel as a solar compass. The watch’s conventional hour-and-minute display is joined by central seconds, while the bezel supplies the collection’s compass and timing functions.
It is a more everyday-oriented interpretation of Inercy’s compass theme than the brand’s earlier One, according to Monochrome Watches’ October 5, 2026 launch report. The solar-compass description should not be read as a claim of precision navigation; the report does not establish navigational accuracy.
Compass Light and Compass Dark

Both versions share the same reported case, movement, bezel arrangement and included straps. Dauphine hour and minute hands have white Super-LumiNova inserts. The aluminium central seconds hand is double-ended and inspired by a compass needle, with one end tipped red.

How the two crowns and inner bezel work
- 3 o’clock crown: sets the time.
- 9 o’clock crown: turns the bi-directional inner bezel.
- Bezel: carries a timing scale and cardinal directions; Monochrome describes it as a solar compass.
The layout separates time-setting from bezel adjustment. The launch report names the bezel’s functions but does not provide operating instructions or specify how accurately it can be used for navigation.

These are specifications reported by Monochrome, not figures independently measured here. The report does not state lug width, so it does not establish compatibility with a particular third-party strap.

How it differs from the Inercy One
Monochrome reports that the One, introduced in 2023, was a 42 mm watch with a compass-inspired dial and flying tourbillon. It used a Chinese-made, manually wound tourbillon movement from PTS Resources, with assembly and regulation in France. The Compass is smaller and replaces that complication with a three-hand automatic display and the compass-and-timing bezel.

Launch price, quantities and promotion
Monochrome reported a EUR 1,790 retail price, preorders opening October 6, 2026, and production limited to 150 watches per dial colour. It also reported that three “Gold” cards would be randomly inserted among the first 300 deliveries, each offering an additional watch; the article characterized that as a one-in-100 chance for each buyer.
Those are launch-report terms, not a live stock or checkout check. Current availability, regional pricing, taxes, delivery timing and promotion eligibility are not established by the cited report. Check Inercy’s current sales information before relying on any of those terms.
