The MING 37.02 Ghost is a 38 mm automatic watch built around brushed grade 2 titanium: the case, two-part dial and buckle share the same material, but contrasting brushing gives the dial its changing light and texture. It was limited to 250 watches and is now sold out; MING says deliveries are complete and the model will not be produced again.
What makes the 37.02 Ghost different?
The Ghost’s monochrome look comes from material and surface treatment rather than a conventional dark dial. MING uses grade 2 titanium for the case, dial and buckle, with brushed surfaces throughout. The two-part dial combines radial and circular brushing, so its grey appearance shifts with the light. MING describes the effect as “a surprisingly shiny and bright dial thanks to contrasting circular and radial brushing” in its official 37.02 Ghost archive.
Monochrome Watches’ Rebecca Doulton characterized the case as “architecturally finished (i.e. not polished) metallic surfaces” in its 18 April 2025 launch coverage. That distinction matters: the design’s visual interest comes from the brushed planes and their interaction with light, not polished highlights or a color accent.
Dimensions, weight and display
MING lists a 38 mm case diameter, 11 mm thickness and 44.5 mm lug-to-lug length. The watch weighs 35 g without the strap, according to the maker’s specification. Those figures describe the product; they are not a substitute for trying the watch on, and do not establish how it will fit a particular wrist.

The display is time-only, with hours and minutes. The front and rear crystals are domed sapphire with double-sided anti-reflective coating; MING also specifies a liquid Super-LumiNova fill. The hands are coated with Super-LumiNova X1.
Movement and water-resistance figures
Inside is an automatic Sellita for MING SW300.M1, finished with anthracite skeletonized bridges and a customized rotor. MING gives an approximate 50-hour power reserve; Monochrome reports a 45–50-hour range and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour in its 18 April 2025 launch article.

The water-resistance figures need to be read separately. The caseback states 100 m, which is the published rating. MING says the watch proved water resistant to 260 m after an initial 100 m calculation, and Monochrome also reports that claimed result. MING explains that it left the 100 m mark on the caseback “as an inside joke to our engineering paranoia.” The brand-reported pressure result does not change the stated rating or, by itself, establish suitability for a particular activity.

Release status, price and strap size
The 37.02 Ghost was released as a 250-piece limited edition. Monochrome reported a CHF 3,500 launch price on 18 April 2025; this is the original reported price, not a current asking price. MING’s archive now marks the watch sold out, says deliveries are complete and states it will not be produced again. That establishes its production status, but not whether an example is currently listed for resale or what it might cost on the secondary market.

The supplied grey goat-leather strap is 20 mm wide, matching the stated lug width, and closes with a grade 2 titanium tuck buckle. A 20 mm replacement strap is the relevant width to investigate, but the published specification does not confirm the fit of every aftermarket strap or buckle.

The strongest case for the Ghost is its coherent treatment of titanium: the metal is not just a lightweight case material, but the basis of the dial and buckle as well. The modest published dimensions and 35 g head weight will interest readers looking for a compact, light watch, while the brushing gives the otherwise restrained grey palette its defining visual detail.

It is less straightforward to assess as a purchase today. The original edition has sold out, no current resale price is established here, and a comparison with other MING 37.02 watches would require their specifications and prices on the same basis. The facts available support a distinctive first look, not a ranking or a claim about current value.
