The new Heritage Chronometer Celebration lineup spans stainless steel and 18K rose gold, with mesh-bracelet and leather-strap versions. The key distinction is the exact reference: the current product pages list mesh models ending in .21, while Carl F. Bucherer’s April 2024 release lists additional leather-strap models ending in .01. Steel editions are limited to 188 pieces per reference; rose-gold editions to 88.
Which Heritage Chronometer Celebration references are new?
Carl F. Bucherer’s current product pages list two mesh-bracelet models: the stainless-steel 00.10804.08.13.21 and the 18K rose-gold 00.10804.03.13.21. The brand’s April 2024 press release also lists four leather-strap references. The suffix matters: .21 identifies the mesh-bracelet versions in these listings, while .01 identifies the leather-strap versions.

| 18K rose gold, embossed calf-leather strap | 00.10804.03.93.01 | Brown gradient | 88 pieces |
These quantities are edition sizes published by Carl F. Bucherer, not independent market or performance statistics. The April 2024 release describes the leather-strap references; the current product pages provide specifications for the featured mesh models.
What differs between the steel and rose-gold mesh models?
Both featured mesh models have a 39 mm case and 8.45 mm height, a silver dial, an automatic movement listed on the product pages as CFB 1965, 25 jewels, and a 42-hour power reserve. Each is described as a COSC-certified chronometer, with date, hour, minute, and second functions, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on one side, and 3 bar (30 m) water resistance. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.

The steel model’s mesh bracelet has a quick-release system. The product specifications give 3 bar (30 m) water resistance; they do not establish suitability for swimming.
How should you interpret the movement-name discrepancy?
The current product pages call the movement CFB 1965, and the April 2024 release identifies CFB 1965.1. The official user manual instead labels it CFB 1961. Those documents do not resolve why the designation differs. If the movement number matters to a purchase or service decision, ask Carl F. Bucherer to confirm the correct designation for the specific reference.

What does the design say about the watch’s heritage?
Carl F. Bucherer describes the watch as a restrained reinterpretation linked to a 1960s predecessor. The brand says, “The connections between the Heritage Chronometer Celebration lineup and its 1960s precursor are obvious.” That is the manufacturer’s characterization, rather than independent archival evidence.
The brand also describes the embossed family crest as combining a swan symbolizing Lucerne, a beech tree representing the Bucherer family, and the date 1888, the manufacturer’s founding year. These meanings are the company’s account of its own emblem.
What are the price and availability?
The official product pages show price on request and direct visitors to a store finder. They do not establish a current retail price or local stock position. Check with the brand or a retailer for availability in your region, and confirm the full reference so the strap, dial, and case material match the version you want.

The official manual says the watch stops after at least 42 hours when unworn. Its basic instructions are:
Rank #4
- Limited Edition of 30 pieces
- Approx 50 Hour Power Reserve
- To restart a stopped watch, wind the crown clockwise at least 30 turns.
- Use crown position 1 to set the date.
- Use crown position 2 to set the time.
The manual identifies the movement as CFB 1961, unlike the current product pages and 2024 release, which use CFB 1965/1965.1.
