The Furlan Marri Disco Volante Onyx Diamonds pairs the model’s rounded, concealed-lug case with a black onyx dial and baguette-cut lab-grown diamond markers. The September 2025 launch release lists a CHF 3,500 retail price and 100 pieces planned for 2025; those are launch-era figures, not confirmation of today’s price or availability. The published specifications also name a hand-wound Peseux 7001 movement. No independent wrist impressions or test results are available here, so this guide distinguishes the brand’s stated specifications from verified hands-on observations.
What is the new Furlan Marri Disco Volante?
Disco Volante means “flying saucer.” Furlan Marri’s design draws on late-1930s forms, using a rounded case and concealed lugs to create a smooth, compact silhouette. The Onyx Diamonds edition keeps that case design but gives the watch a more jewelry-leaning dial treatment.
According to the September 2025 Furlan Marri press release published by Europa Star, the four-part dial is black onyx, with markers at 12, 3 and 9, a small-seconds subdial at six, and luminous elements. The markers are baguette-cut lab-grown diamonds held by small steel cages; their stated combined weight is 0.12 carat. These are published product details, not independently verified measurements.
How much does the Furlan Marri Disco Volante Onyx Diamonds cost?
Furlan Marri’s September 2025 release lists CHF 3,500 as the retail price and says 100 pieces were planned for 2025. It identifies the brand’s website, Geneva showroom and selected retailers as sales channels. The release says later production depends on availability of the Swiss-made, hand-wound Peseux 7001 movement. Current stock, subsequent production and today’s retail price are not established by that announcement. Europa Star’s publication of the September 2025 release is the source for those launch-era terms.

For context, Oracle of Time reported the original Disco Volante at CHF 2,500 excluding tax in its earlier launch coverage. That historical launch figure and the Onyx Diamonds release price are not a like-for-like current-price comparison: they come from different launch periods, and the earlier amount explicitly excludes tax. Oracle of Time’s original-model review also describes the earlier dial as brown and salmon.
What movement is in the Disco Volante?
The Onyx Diamonds release specifies a Swiss-made, hand-wound Peseux 7001. It lists 17 jewels, a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a 42-hour power reserve. The same release gives the movement’s diameter as 23.73 mm and thickness as 2.50 mm. These are manufacturer-published specifications rather than independent test findings.

Oracle of Time described the original Disco Volante as using a manual ETA calibre 7001, also with a 42-hour reserve. The Onyx edition’s release names the Peseux 7001; the sources do not establish that the movement nomenclature or sourcing is identical across the two models.
How is the Onyx Diamonds different from the original Disco Volante?
The clearest change is the dial: the Onyx Diamonds version substitutes black onyx and lab-grown diamond markers for the brown-and-salmon dial reported on the original. Both retain the 38 mm Disco Volante case concept and the small-seconds display at six. The launch information available for the original and new editions differs in detail, so the table separates stated specifications from details not established for the earlier watch.

What are the published case and strap specifications?
The September 2025 release specifies a 316L stainless-steel case measuring 38 mm across and 8.95 mm thick, or 8.10 mm without the glass. It lists a curved bezel, sapphire crystals on the front and back, five anti-reflective layers and an anti-fingerprint layer. The stated water-resistance rating is 50 m / 5 ATM. These figures are release specifications, not independent test results.
The release lists both a stainless-steel mesh bracelet and a black, textured vegetable-tanned Italian leather strap. It does not establish a strap width, so compatibility with replacement straps should not be assumed from these details alone.

What the launch information does—and does not—establish
The product release provides concrete materials, dimensions, movement details and launch terms. It does not establish current inventory, the number of pieces ultimately produced, or whether later batches have been made. Nor does published water resistance substitute for an independent test or specify how a particular watch should be used around water. For the latest availability and price, check Furlan Marri or a retailer directly rather than treating the 2025 announcement as a live offer.
Independent coverage of the new edition includes It’s About Time’s report on the Onyx dial and diamond markers. The cited launch coverage is useful for understanding the announced design, but it does not supply first-person handling observations.
