The Baltic Hermétique Tourer Bronze combines a compact 37 mm case with a relatively long 46 mm lug-to-lug span, a smoked dial and a color-matched FKM rubber strap. Its CuAl8 bronze case and bezel are designed to develop patina through handling, so the watch’s appearance will change with wear. Fratello’s Jorg Weppelink reported on wearing it for a couple of days; his fit impressions are attributed below rather than presented as our own test.
What makes the Hermétique Tourer Bronze distinctive?
It is a field-style automatic that mixes vintage-inspired details with modern materials. The bronze case and bezel, smoked dial, applied luminous markers and polished bronze syringe hands give it a warmer, more characterful look than the steel Tourer. Baltic supplies a vulcanized FKM rubber strap in a color matched to the dial.

The bronze is CuAl8. Baltic says handling causes the alloy to develop patina over time, meaning the case’s color and surface character evolve rather than remain uniform. The exact result will vary with use; the product information does not establish a single expected patina pattern.

How does it wear?
Its 37 mm diameter sounds restrained, but the 46 mm lug-to-lug measurement gives it a longer footprint than the diameter alone suggests. The case is 10.8 mm thick, or 8.3 mm excluding the crystal, and the lugs are 20 mm wide.
#1 Best Overall
- Total Bronze: This timepiece features an exceptional bronze case, buckle, and crown—all solid bronze. Natural oxidation due to environmental factors means stains and patina changes are expected upon receipt and over time, which is normal
- Material: CUSN8 bronze case crown buckle, total bronze watch, synthetic sapphire crystal, genuine suede leather band
- Movement: Japan NH35A automatic movement, 24 jewels, 41 hours of energy storage
- Luminous: Swiss Super bright luminous backlight, excellent night brightness
- Waterproof: Water resistance up to 20 ATM / 200 meters / 656 feet
In Fratello’s 5 December 2024 hands-on, Jorg Weppelink said he wore the watch for a couple of days and liked its visual balance and fit. He found that the relatively long lug-to-lug span and overall presence contributed to how it sat on his wrist. Those are his impressions, not a universal fit guarantee: wrist shape and personal preference matter.
Weppelink also said he was not fond of the integrated crown, although he found it easy to pull out and operate. He preferred the stainless-steel versions because they can be paired with Baltic’s beads-of-rice bracelet. That preference is a practical distinction: the bronze model is supplied on rubber, while the bracelet option he favored applied to the steel versions.
Case, dial and strap details
Case and water resistance
Baltic specifies a CuAl8 bronze case and bezel, an integrated crown, a double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, and 150 m (15 ATM) water resistance. That depth rating is the manufacturer’s specification; no independent water-resistance test of a sample is established here.

Smoked dial colors and lume
The bronze Tourer is offered with brown, green or blue smoked dials. Baltic lists Super-LumiNova C3 X1 for the brown and green versions and BGW9 for blue. The dial has applied luminous markers, paired with polished bronze syringe hands.
Included strap and replacement fit
The included vulcanized FKM rubber strap matches the dial color and has a bronze buckle. The watch’s 20 mm lug width is a useful starting point when looking for a replacement 20 mm strap, but nominal width alone does not guarantee that every third-party strap, buckle or end shape will fit. Baltic says its straps fit the watch except for the Mesh bracelet.

Quick Recap
Who should consider it?
- Consider it if you want a relatively small-diameter watch with a longer lug-to-lug stance, bronze that develops patina, and a dial-matched rubber strap.
- Look closely at fit if your wrist or preferences favor shorter lug-to-lug dimensions: the 46 mm span is substantial relative to the 37 mm diameter.
- Compare the steel version if you prefer a stable case finish or want the beads-of-rice bracelet option Weppelink cited.
- Check before buying which dial color and lume pairing you want, as well as the current regional price and availability.
