What is the MING 37.07 Fifth Anniversary Edition?
MING introduced the 37.07 in July 2022 as a fifth-anniversary release revisiting the daily-wear idea behind its first watch, the 17.01. The brand says it worked with Manufacture Schwarz-Etienne on the model’s engineering and assembly. It is a time-only watch: the display shows hours and minutes, without a seconds hand or date.
The dial is the defining feature. MING describes a circular-brushed, printed and luminous metal base beneath a sapphire dial printed on both surfaces and finished with a gradient fade. The inner mosaic uses three-layer printing across the sapphire surfaces and the lower brass dial, incorporating gradient and luminous elements. In practical terms, the layers give the face depth: the pattern and color can appear different as the light changes.
In a July 25, 2022 hands-on review after spending about a week with one of two working prototypes, Fratello’s Michael Stockton described the central dial and gray ring as brass and noted the changing effect of the layered dial and gradient. That is a reviewer’s observation of a prototype, not a laboratory measurement. Stockton wrote, “The MING 37.07 definitely is a MING, but the designers have once again nailed the magic with a dial that’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen.” Read Stockton’s Fratello review.

How does it wear and operate?
The 38mm diameter and 44.5mm lug-to-lug measurement describe a compact footprint on paper, while the 10.9mm thickness gives a useful sense of how much case sits above the wrist. Fit still depends on wrist shape and strap choice, so the dimensions are more useful than assuming the watch will wear identically for everyone.

The SW210.M1 is manually wound, rather than automatic. That means the wearer winds it by hand; MING specifies approximately 40 hours of reserve from a full wind. The watch’s restrained hours-and-minutes display and lack of a date keep attention on the dial instead of adding complications.
The stated 100m water resistance is a manufacturer specification. It should not be read as a guarantee for a particular activity or for a watch whose condition, seals or service history are unknown—particularly if buying a pre-owned example.

What strap fits the MING 37.07?
MING specifies a 20mm strap, curved quick-release bars and its third-generation tuck buckle with micro-adjustment. The listed original options are white rubber and oxblood Barenia. A standard strap that measures 20mm is not automatically compatible: the curved quick-release hardware and buckle arrangement matter, too.
If replacing the strap, confirm that the strap works with the watch’s curved quick-release bars and that the buckle can be transferred or otherwise accommodated. Check the dimensions and attachment details of the specific replacement rather than relying on width alone.

Is the MING 37.07 still available?
No new production is currently offered by MING. The brand’s archive states: “This watch is sold out with deliveries complete. It will not be produced again.” The archive does not give a publication date for that status. Availability through resale is a separate matter; current listings and prices are not established here.
What did the 37.07 cost at launch?
The original launch price was CHF 3,250. Hodinkee’s July 2022 report described an ordering process with two 15-minute windows on July 29, a 50% non-refundable deposit, and deliveries expected to begin in May 2023. Hodinkee also reported CHF 14,500 as the price of the earlier MING 20.11 Mosaic in its July 25, 2022 comparison. That is a historical published price for a different watch, not a current market comparison or estimate of the 37.07’s resale value.
