The Maurice de Mauriac Rallymaster II is a tennis-themed automatic watch, not a chronograph: it displays hours, minutes, small seconds and the date. Its pastel-blue dial carries the tennis references in the graphics and details, while a 39 mm steel case and conventional time-and-date functions keep the concept from being a courtside novelty.
How the Rallymaster II puts tennis on the dial
The Rallymaster II followed a 2022 Rallymaster collaboration that Fratello describes as a 40-piece pastel-pink edition. The II retains much of that dial design but shifts to a pastel-blue palette. In its hands-on review, Fratello’s Brad Homes called the visual theme fun rather than labored—one reviewer’s impression, rather than an objective measure of the design. Dial and tennis details
The main dial is described as desaturated ice blue, paired with a muted gray chapter ring and applied indices. A net motif crosses the dial. The asymmetric layout gives the small-seconds register more space on the left, while a magnified date window sits on the right. An optic-yellow lume dot on the seconds hand adds a bright accent; the crown has a tennis-ball-shaped relief.
What it does—and does not do
The tennis motif is graphic, not a timing complication. The Rallymaster II has no chronograph function: its listed displays are hours, minutes, small seconds and date. A tennis ball and rackets motif can also be seen through the sapphire exhibition window in the caseback.

Straps and fit
The reported 20 mm width is the useful starting point if you want to explore other straps. The watch was supplied with pale-blue and pastel-pink textile flex straps, and Fratello describes them as using quick-release bars. A replacement strap must match the lug width and the spring-bar arrangement; the published materials do not verify compatibility with any particular third-party strap.

Launch context and later Rallymaster editions
The Rallymaster II was promoted around the 2023 US Open, with preorders open during the tournament period. By the time Fratello published its review, the preorder window had closed and production numbers were final. Fratello reported a launch price of CHF 1,950, while both Fratello and Hodinkee reported US$1,950. A separate Rallymaster Swiss Tennis was reported in 2026. It is a later edition with a silver dial and a different strap configuration, not a new name for the blue Rallymaster II. Hodinkee, July 13, 2026.
