The Bohen StarDiver is an angular, limited-production automatic dive watch rated by its maker to 1,000 meters. Its bold case and claw-like lugs look imposing, but Fratello reviewer Jorg Weppelink found the 41 mm watch surprisingly comfortable on his wrist. Bohen’s product page listed it in stock on October 8, 2026, with prices starting at €3,290 including tax.
What is the Bohen StarDiver?
The StarDiver is a 300-piece automatic dive watch from Bohen. Its defining features are an angular steel case, claw-like lugs, deeply recessed dial and crown on the left side at the 42-minute position. An orange helium escape valve sits at 50 minutes, while oversized hands and a wide, slanted chapter ring add to its assertive look. The triple-date aperture displays three dates at once, with the current date centered; Bohen presents this as a contextual way to show the date.
That design is intentionally far from a conventional round diver. The visual impact may appeal to someone looking for an unusual statement watch, but it is also the main point of uncertainty: a striking shape is a matter of taste, not a universal advantage.
How large is it, and does it wear comfortably?
Bohen lists a 41 mm bezel diameter, 48 mm length and 14.8 mm overall thickness including the sapphire crystal. Those figures describe a substantial watch, especially in thickness, while the 48 mm length is the measurement most useful for judging how far it spans the wrist.

In his May 27, 2023 hands-on review, Jorg Weppelink described the shape and overall presence as divisive, yet said the 41 mm diameter and 48 mm lug-to-lug made it surprisingly comfortable on his wrist. He preferred it on the orange silicone strap. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a fit guarantee; wrist shape, strap choice and personal tolerance for a thick case all matter.

- The Bergeon 8007 rubber ball is a great addition to any work bench or watch tool kit. A friction ball that opens the back of most screw-off style watch backs.
- This squishy ball is slightly tacky and creates a large contact area that allows you to open the back easily. Guaranteed to not scratch or leave a mark on your watch, this tool is great when you want to open a back without the hassle of using traditional case opening tools.
- Size: 2.6" diameter (67 mm)
How do the bracelet and strap options work?
Bohen describes the stainless steel bracelet as adjustable without tools. Its straight links have quick-release mechanisms, and the clasp provides double-control micro-adjustment. Fratello also reports that the bracelet tapers from 24 mm to 16 mm. The orange silicone strap was Weppelink’s preferred option in his review, though his choice is personal rather than a general comfort finding.
How much does the Bohen StarDiver cost, and is it available?

Availability and prices can change; check the official StarDiver product page for the current listing. Bohen says buyers outside the EEC pay import taxes directly to the carrier on delivery, so the listed price may not represent the full delivered cost for those buyers.
The current prices differ from the launch-era figures in Fratello’s May 2023 review, which listed €2,160 with two straps, €2,740 with bracelet only, and €2,990 with both bracelet and straps, all excluding tax. That review also said 100 of the 300 watches had sold at the time; it is not a current sales or stock count.

Who is the StarDiver for?
The StarDiver makes the most sense for a buyer who specifically wants an unconventional, visually forceful diver and values its bracelet adjustment system, unusual date display and high stated depth rating. Its comfort is promising but supported here by one reviewer’s wrist experience, while the dimensions and bold design make trying it on especially useful if possible.
When comparing it with another dive watch, consider case diameter, length and thickness together; the stated water-resistance rating and any relevant independent certification; movement, accuracy and power reserve; bezel and crystal; bracelet or strap adjustment; warranty; and the full price after applicable tax or import charges. For this watch, the 1,000-meter figure and movement performance remain Bohen’s specifications rather than independently verified results.
