The NOMOS Club Sport neomatik 37 polar keeps the collection’s sporty steel case, automatic movement, bracelet and 20-atm water-resistance rating, while leaving off the date found on the larger model discussed by Time+Tide. Its 37 mm diameter makes it the more compact option, but the 47.7 mm lug-to-lug measurement is just as important when judging fit.
What changed on the Club Sport neomatik 37?
Time+Tide describes the 37 mm model as a simpler, date-free counterpart to a larger, date-equipped Club Sport neomatik. That is a useful description of the comparison in its 2022 article, not a claim that every Club Sport variant follows the same distinction. The polar version retains the collection’s sporty steel construction, automatic movement and bracelet while presenting a cleaner dial without a date display.
NOMOS lists two polar references with different casebacks: Ref. 747 has a steel back, while Ref. 750 has a sapphire crystal back. Those references should not be treated as identical in this respect.
Will the 37 mm case fit a smaller wrist?
NOMOS lists the polar model at 37.0 mm in diameter, 47.7 mm lug-to-lug and 8.3 mm high, with an 18 mm lug width. The case diameter gives a sense of its compactness, but the 47.7 mm span from lug to lug may be the more revealing number for wrist fit: a watch can be modest in diameter yet extend noticeably across a narrower wrist.

Use those dimensions as a comparison with a watch you already find comfortable, and consider how much lug overhang you prefer. Fit remains personal; the listed diameter alone cannot establish that the watch will wear small for everyone.
Movement, bracelet and water resistance
Automatic DUW 3001
The watch uses NOMOS’s automatic DUW 3001 movement. A NOMOS data sheet marked October 2022 gives a power reserve of up to 43 hours and notes that technical details may change. Treat that reserve as the figure in that dated sheet and confirm the specification for the exact reference when purchasing.

Steel bracelet and quick changes
NOMOS lists a Club Sport bracelet with quick-change spring bars and an 18 mm lug width. The quick-change feature is intended to make removing the bracelet easier; the listed width does not, by itself, confirm that any particular third-party strap will fit.
20 atm rating
NOMOS rates the polar model to 20 atm and describes it as suitable for diving. Its product page also says the watch is suitable for swimming. This is the manufacturer’s stated rating, not an independent test result or a specification for every Club Sport reference.
