Negroni

Espresso Martini

The review treats the three primarily as design variations. It does not provide controlled measurements comparing their legibility, lume, or performance, so choosing among them comes down chiefly to which color and texture combination suits your taste.

Case size and construction
The case measures 34.5 mm across and 40.5 mm in length, a compact footprint that suits the collection’s dress-watch character. The case is stainless steel, with a double-curved sapphire crystal and a display back. Tusenö states a thickness of 8.7 mm including the sapphire; Fratello’s specification table instead lists 5.9 mm with crystal, a discrepancy that remains unresolved. [Fratello Watches] [Tusenö]
Manual-wind ETA 7001 movement
All three versions use a hand-wound ETA 7001. Fratello reports 21,600 vibrations per hour, 17 jewels, and a 42-hour power reserve; Tusenö describes the movement as Top grade. Manual winding means the watch needs regular winding by its wearer rather than relying on wrist movement. The display back lets the movement remain visible when the watch is off the wrist.
Water resistance and strap details

Tusenö lists a custom Italian leather strap with quick-change spring bars, an 18 mm lug width, and a taper to 14 mm. The Espresso Martini page offers standard and long strap lengths. If fitting a replacement, check the lug width, taper, strap length, and buckle details rather than assuming that any 18 mm strap will match or feel the same as Tusenö’s custom strap. Launch pricing and variant-specific availability
Fratello reported a US$999 regular launch price and a US$899 preorder offer running from July 30 through August 6, 2025. The offer included the black and brown leather straps shown in the review. Those were launch terms, not a statement of current pricing. [Fratello Watches]

Availability messages on Tusenö’s product pages differ by variant and can change. The Espresso Martini page’s search result showed “sold out” and “SHIPPING Q1 2026,” while the Supervintage Black page displayed preorder information and estimated August/September 2026 delivery. What the hands-on review thinks
Jorg Weppelink’s review describes the watches as serious enough in style to be worn as dress watches, while still designed to be fun. His personal verdict: “The Tusenö Supervintage watches are stylish enough to be taken seriously, but they also offer fun and will make you crack a huge smile when wearing them.” That is the reviewer’s impression, not a measured or universal judgment.
