What is the Seascoper 300 DLC Black Edition?
Reference 83300 B-BK-R-716 is the all-black DLC-coated version of Titoni’s Seascoper 300. Titoni lists it as a 500-piece worldwide limited edition. The model arrived in summer 2023 alongside a separate orange-dial DLC version limited to 100 pieces, according to the contemporary review by Dive into Watches. That makes the Black Edition the more numerous of the two, though still a limited run.

Titoni’s product description identifies the case as matt black DLC and the bezel as glossy black ceramic. The brand describes its coating as durable and scratch resistant; that is a manufacturer claim, not an independently established wear test. The monochrome treatment extends to grey-toned hands and indices. Dive into Watches further describes grey surrounds and grey-colored luminous material, which keep the dial legible without introducing a contrasting accent color.
Movement and practical implications
The 2023 review identifies the movement as the automatic Sellita SW200-1, COSC-certified as a chronometer, with approximately 38 hours of power reserve. That reserve is modest by the standards of watches that can run through a full weekend off the wrist, so a stopped watch may need resetting after a couple of days unworn. COSC certification indicates chronometer testing; it does not by itself establish how a particular watch will perform after years of use.

Strap and package: check the exact configuration
Published descriptions do not establish one universal strap package. Dive into Watches lists a rubber strap with folding clasp or a textile strap with pin buckle, and gives a 20 mm lug width. Titoni’s product page presents a rubber strap and an additional strap made from ocean plastic. Because those accounts differ, confirm the region, reference and exact contents with the seller or Titoni before purchase. A stated 20 mm lug width alone does not guarantee that an aftermarket strap will fit correctly; end shape and clasp compatibility can matter.

Who the Black Edition suits
This version makes most sense for someone who wants the Seascoper 300’s conventional dive-watch capability in a low-contrast black-and-grey design, and values the finite 500-piece run. The trade-off is that the DLC finish is central to its appeal: buyers who prefer a visible steel case or a more colorful dial may find the uncoated or orange-dial alternatives more appealing. The movement, 300 m rating and major case specifications make it a serious dive-watch proposition on paper, but the cited sources do not establish long-term coating durability or current value.
