Start with the exact 417 Ti size
Hanhart offers the 417 TI Desert Pilot in 39 mm and 42 mm case sizes. Its specifications give the 39 mm model a 20 mm lug width and the 42 mm model a 21 mm lug width, so a strap sized for one should not be assumed to fit the other. Both editions are limited to 200 pieces, according to Hanhart’s 39 mm product page and 42 mm product page.

These are the configurations Hanhart lists for the Ti watches; they are not evidence that the company offers a Bund option for either size. Hanhart describes the Ti collection as its first 417 made from Grade 5 titanium, replacing the stainless steel traditionally designated “ES.”
Is the brown calfskin Bund strap an official 417 Ti accessory?
The official Ti product pages reviewed specify rubber straps and do not document a Ti Bund strap or confirm that an aftermarket Bund strap fits. A Reddit search result surfaced the phrase “Blown away by this new brown calfskin bund strap,” but that wording alone does not establish an official release, the strap’s maker, or compatibility with the 417 Ti.

Hanhart’s 417 ES/415 ES strap catalog includes leather-underlay straps and model-specific products. The catalog is for ES/415 ES straps; it does not state that those products fit the 417 Ti. Likewise, Hanhart’s 417 ES 42 mm specifications show a 21 mm width for the ES Bund-strap configuration, but that is an ES fit statement—not confirmation for the titanium model. What to check before ordering a Bund-style strap
- Match the lug width to the Ti case size. Search for 20 mm only for the 39 mm 417 Ti, or 21 mm only for the 42 mm version.
- Confirm attachment geometry. Ask the strap seller whether the strap fits the watch’s lug and spring-bar arrangement; width alone does not confirm compatibility.
- Check the underlay and total length. A Bund strap adds a leather panel beneath the watch. Hanhart notes on its ES product page that leather underbands increase overall strap length, so check the full length against your wrist and preferred fit.
- Verify the specific Ti fit with the seller or Hanhart. The available ES Bund information cannot substitute for confirmation that a particular strap fits the 417 Ti.
For the 39 mm version, a useful search phrase is “20 mm leather Bund watch strap”; for the 42 mm version, use “21 mm leather Bund watch strap.” Treat either as a starting point, not a compatibility guarantee.
