The “Silk Purple” is a limited-edition collaboration between Hanhart and Armbanduhren, not simply an unlimited standard color option. Hanhart states that 200 watches were made, with 150 allocated for sale in Germany. The production total does not reveal how many remain available: Hanhart and launch coverage do not publish a verified remaining-stock or sell-through count.

The full model name is Hanhart Preventor HD12 «Silk Purple», reference 792L.874-6429. It combines a restrained three-hand layout with a vivid dial and a bracelet treated to match the case.
Design, case and fit
The matte purple dial has white Arabic numerals and hands treated with Super-LumiNova C1 X2, plus a red-tipped central seconds hand. A convex sapphire crystal has anti-reflective treatment on its inside surface.

Hanhart lists the brushed-and-polished stainless-steel case as hardened HD12 steel with a transparent PVD coating. The bracelet is stainless steel with the same transparent PVD treatment; it measures 20 mm at the lugs and closes with a folding clasp offering up to 10 mm of tool-free adjustment.

The 39 mm diameter and 46 mm lug-to-lug give a more useful sense of fit than diameter alone. Hanhart rates the screw-down case construction to 15 bar / 15 ATM. That rating describes the watch’s stated water resistance; it is not, by itself, a guarantee of suitability for every water activity or a substitute for checking the manufacturer’s care guidance.
Hanhart says HD12 steel has a surface hardness of 1,200 HV, compared with around 220 HV for conventional 316L steel, and describes sapphire as around 2,000 HV. These are manufacturer-published comparisons, not independently verified test results for this watch.
Movement and timekeeping functions
Hanhart specifies either a Sellita SW200-1 or a Soprod SOP P024 automatic movement. The exact caliber may vary by individual watch, and the product information does not map each caliber to a particular unit. Anyone buying a specific example should ask the seller to confirm which movement it contains.

Hanhart Silk Purple price and availability
At launch in September 2025, Fratello reported a price of €1,295 including 19% VAT. Hanhart’s English product page showed $1,996 including VAT and “Out of stock” when checked on October 8, 2026. Those figures refer to different dates and market contexts; they are not a like-for-like price comparison, and the manufacturer page’s price and stock status may change. If comparing individual listings, confirm the caliber, condition, box and papers, warranty, seller location, taxes and actual availability. The edition size alone does not establish that a particular watch is rare on the secondary market or that its price will appreciate.
Who is this limited edition for?
The Silk Purple makes most sense for someone who wants a compact, no-date automatic with a distinctive dial and a coordinated steel bracelet. Its 39 mm case and 46 mm lug-to-lug are the key fit measurements to compare with a watch that already wears comfortably. The purple finish is the defining visual choice; buyers seeking a conventional dial color may prefer another Preventor configuration.
