Casio analog-digital watches do not all use the same setting sequence, and on some models the digital display and hands are set separately. First find your watch’s module number and open the matching Casio operation guide; use its instructions rather than trying a button sequence from another model.
Find your watch’s module number and manual

Look for the model or module number on the watch or its documentation. The module number identifies the movement’s operation guide.

Open Casio’s manual search and search by model name or module number. Casio notes that some products may not appear in model-name results, so try the module number if needed. If the manual is unavailable, contact Casio support.

In the guide, find the section for setting the digital time and calendar, and separately check for instructions on setting the analog hands or correcting their positions.

Set the digital time and date using the matching guide
Follow the exact guide for your module: the controls and order can differ, even among analog-digital watches. Some models use buttons; others use a crown in combination with buttons. Do not combine steps from different manuals.
Example: module 2358
This module’s manual explicitly says that digital and analog time are independent and must be set separately. For its digital time and date, enter Timekeeping Mode, hold A until the seconds flash, press C to move between settings, and press D to change the selected value. This is an example for module 2358 only, not a universal Casio sequence.
Phone-connected and other modules
Module 5466 uses a second crown click to enter setting, B to move among minute, hour, year, month, and day, and crown rotation to change values. Its manual says the watch automatically corrects the day and time from the phone while connected.

Module 5512 has a different sequence: use the second crown click to adjust hour and minute, press A for calendar settings, press B to change the month, and rotate the crown to change the day and year digits. The weekday is calculated from the year, month, and day. On module 5658, the manual describes watch-based setting for when the watch cannot connect to a phone, including choosing a Home City and setting summer-time behavior. Consult your own guide for the relevant controls and options.
Set or correct the analog hands
Do not assume setting the digital display also moves the hands. On module 2358, for example, the manual says to pull out the crown, turn it to set the hands, then push it back in. Other modules use different controls or provide a separate hand-position adjustment procedure.
If the hands and digital time still disagree after you have set the watch, look in the exact module guide for its hand or reference-position correction instructions. Casio’s guidance uses headings such as “How to Adjust the Analog Part (Hand),” “Correcting Hand Misalignment,” or “Correcting Hand and Date Misalignment.” This adjustment is for a mismatch that remains; it is not a required step for every watch.

Phone-connected watch: Check the guide’s synchronization instructions. Module 5466 corrects day and time from the phone while connected; if setting manually on another model, use its specified procedure.

Time is offset: On models that support it, check the selected Home City and daylight-saving or summer-time setting. These settings are not available or handled identically on every module.

Digital display is right but hands are not: Follow the manual’s hand-position adjustment instructions rather than repeatedly changing the digital time.

Controls or labels do not match: Stop and verify the module number. A similar-looking watch may use a different sequence.
