Set the time and date using your model’s guide
- Confirm the reference or caliber. Use the paperwork or watch documentation, then locate the corresponding TAG Heuer user guide through the watch’s service page or Customer Care as appropriate. [C5]
- Use the guide’s crown positions. Pull or move the crown only to the position specified for your model. The guides identify position 2 for calendar correction and position 3 for time-setting on the variants listed above, but do not apply that sequence to an unverified reference. [C1][C2][C3]
- Correct the calendar only in the specified direction. Direction differs by caliber: Calibre 5/7/9 specifies clockwise for the date and anti-clockwise for the day; Calibre 11 specifies anti-clockwise for the date; the listed TH20 date models specify clockwise. [C1][C2][C3]

Why you should not guess the date direction or crown position
The official instructions themselves disagree on which way to turn for a date correction: the Calibre 5/7/9 guide says clockwise, while the Calibre 11 guide says anti-clockwise. TH20 date models listed in the October 2025 guide use clockwise correction. The reviewed instructions do not establish one universal date quick-set danger window for every Carrera caliber.
