The brand announced availability from September 2024 through April 2025 and specified that the editions were limited by time, not quantity. That window has passed; HYT’s continuing collection listing does not confirm current stock.
What “Millésime” means for these watches
In its 2024 launch release, HYT explained that the French word “millésime” refers to the year in which a particular wine was produced. The comparison here is seasonal: these T1 editions were presented for fall-winter 2024–2025 and offered during a stated period, rather than capped at a stated number of pieces. HYT called them “limited in time (not quantity).” HYT’s Geneva Watch Days 2024 release does not claim that the watches will appreciate, improve with age, or behave like wine as investments.
How the three editions differ
The documented differences are the case material, dial and fluid colors, reference number, and HYT’s published price. Their core dimensions and movement specifications are shared.

How the T1 displays time
Rather than using a conventional hour hand, the T1 uses a fluidic retrograde display: the hour indication travels along a tube and returns to the start at the end of its cycle. A central hand shows minutes, while another hand indicates the movement’s power reserve. HYT specifies the same hand-wound 501-CM caliber in all three editions.
- Movement: manual-winding 501-CM, with 352 parts and 41 jewels.
- Frequency: 4 Hz, or 28,800 vibrations per hour.
- Stated power reserve: 72 hours.
- Case: 45.30 mm wide, 46.30 mm long, and 17.20 mm thick.
- Other shared specifications: anti-reflective sapphire crystal and stated water resistance of 50 m.
- Straps: a color-matched rubber strap and a black rubber strap are listed for each edition.
These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. The stated water-resistance figure is not a claim about performance in every use or condition.

Can you still buy a T1 Millésime?
HYT’s stated sales window ended in April 2025. The T1 collection page still lists the colorways, but a listing alone does not establish current stock or availability. Contact HYT or a relevant boutique to check whether a specific reference can be obtained; the brand provides an enquiry and boutique-finding route. Verify the reference and condition for any secondary-market offer, and treat the historical prices above as context rather than a current quote.

The analogy helps explain the release’s seasonal framing: HYT assigned the editions to a particular season and defined their limit by time. It does not establish future resale performance. The available official materials provide no resale-value statistics, appreciation forecast, or independent study of these editions as collectibles. Their scarcity should therefore not be inferred from the word “limited” as a quantity claim.
