They start with retail-purchased Citizen watches, but the dial work is IFL’s independent customization—not an official Citizen edition or collaboration.
What are the IFL Tsuyosa Puzzle watches?
Each Puzzle is a Citizen Tsuyosa modified by IFL after the original watch was purchased at retail. IFL says it changes or replaces the original dial and opens the watch to carry out the work. The result is a custom watch built on a Citizen base, not a model made, authorized, or endorsed by Citizen. IFL’s product pages explicitly describe the customization as unauthorized by the original manufacturer.
IFL describes the dials as hand-painted and says no two are alike. The 37 Puzzle pairs a pastel-pink background with colorful interlocking puzzle pieces; the 40 Puzzle uses the same motif on a turquoise-blue background. These are IFL’s descriptions of its work, not independent assessments of the painting or production run.

What is known about the watch specifications?
37 Puzzle
IFL identifies the base as the NJ0200-50Z and lists a 37 mm stainless-steel case, Citizen Caliber 8210 automatic movement, 42-hour power reserve, sapphire crystal, 50 m water resistance, and 130 g weight. These are specifications on IFL’s listing; they are not independent performance-test results.
40 Puzzle
IFL’s page is internally inconsistent about case diameter: its descriptive copy calls the watch 40 mm, while its technical fields list 37 mm. It also repeats the NJ0200-50Z base reference listed for the 37 Puzzle. The page does not resolve whether the 40 Puzzle has a different case size or base watch, so ask IFL to confirm both points before buying if they matter to you. IFL lists a 42-hour power reserve, sapphire crystal, and 50 m water resistance for this version.

Is this an official Citizen collaboration?
No. Citizen’s US collection presents TSUYOSA as a colorful automatic-watch line, including 37 mm models and TSUYOSA 60 variants, but that does not make IFL’s dial work a Citizen product. IFL’s listings say its modifications are not authorized or endorsed by the manufacturer.
There is a separate official collaboration that can cause confusion: on 20 February 2026, Citizen announced a TSUYOSA collaboration with seconde/seconde/ under reference NJ0157-81L, limited to 3,600 pieces worldwide. Its pixel-art katana minute hand is a different design and product; it is not one of IFL’s puzzle watches.

Warranty and what to check before ordering
IFL lists a two-year warranty covering dial installation, craftsmanship, and functional performance. It also says the original manufacturer’s warranty does not apply after third-party modification. Review IFL’s current warranty terms and confirm any questions about coverage before ordering, particularly if you want to know how a repair would be handled.

- For the 40 Puzzle, get written confirmation of the actual case diameter and base reference because the listing gives conflicting size information.
- Read the warranty terms with the modification in mind: IFL’s warranty applies to the work it describes, while IFL says the original manufacturer’s warranty does not apply after modification.
- Treat the 200-piece quantity as IFL’s stated edition limit, not proof that 200 watches have been sold or that no pieces remain elsewhere.
