The all-black Certina DS Action Diver 43mm, reference C032.607.38.051.00, pairs a black PVD-coated steel case with a black dial, ceramic bezel insert and black strap. Its headline specifications are 300 m water resistance, ISO 6425:2018 diver-watch certification and an automatic Powermatic 80.611 movement with up to 80 hours of power reserve. Certina’s listed prices vary by market, so there is no single universal price.
What is the all-black DS Action Diver?
Certina’s reference C032.607.38.051.00 is the 43 mm version of the DS Action Diver Powermatic 80, finished in black PVD-coated 316L stainless steel. The launch story appeared on June 1, 2023, describing the model as a permanent-collection addition expected to be available that June. That is launch-era context, not confirmation of current stock. Monochrome’s June 2023 introduction covered the launch; Certina’s official product page identifies the reference and specifications.
How is the monochrome design put together?
The black treatment extends across the PVD-coated steel case and the bezel surrounding the black dial. Monochrome described the bezel insert as matte black ceramic and the dial as black lacquer. White Super-LumiNova markers and hands provide the main contrast, while the bezel also has luminous elements. The launch article described the black NATO-style strap as made from recycled plastic recovered from the ocean; that material description is from the launch coverage, rather than a claim established here by a current product sheet.
The result is an intentionally low-contrast exterior with white luminous details rather than a conventional bright steel diver. This is a design description, not a hands-on assessment of legibility or comfort.

What do the size and movement mean for a buyer?
Fit is about more than the 43 mm diameter
The 43 mm diameter is only one part of the fit picture. Certina also lists a 51.44 mm length between lugs and a 13.10 mm case height, which help convey the watch’s substantial proportions. A 21 mm lug width is relevant when considering strap options. Numbers cannot establish how the case will sit on an individual wrist; if possible, try it on and assess its overhang and height in person.
