What makes the BR-X3 Night Vision distinctive?
Bell & Ross frames the BR-X3 as an aeronautically inspired instrument watch. On the Night Vision, the defining material is LUM-CAMO: the manufacturer’s name for a composite combining carbon fiber and luminous resin. It is used with black DLC-coated grade 2 titanium and green rubber details. Bell & Ross presents the design as an aviation head-up-display-inspired layout. The skeletonized display is arranged around a green luminous X, beneath a green-tinted anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The three-part dial comprises a tinted sapphire base, a luminescent applique and a black bead-blasted insert. Hands and indexes use green-emission Super-LumiNova X2. These are the manufacturer’s design and legibility claims; no measured lume-duration result or independent darkness test is established here.

The BR-X3 user guide also identifies the BR-CAL.323 as COSC-certified and gives the reserve as approximately 70 hours. Fratello’s launch coverage reports that the movement is produced by Kenissi; that supplier detail is reported by the publication, rather than stated on the official product page. Bell & Ross’s US page lists the watch at $14,700 and currently marks it “Unavailable.” Fratello reported a launch-era price of €13,900. Winding, water resistance and service
The BR-X3 manual says a stopped watch is fully wound after about 55 crown rotations. It instructs owners to unscrew the crown before winding, screw it fully back in after setting, and never operate it underwater. The manual recommends servicing through a Bell & Ross service center or approved watchmaker.

Bell & Ross states that its watches have a five-year international warranty and that watches with an in-house movement receive an automatic extension. The name and presentation hinge on the contrast between the black case and the luminous components, especially the green X and LUM-CAMO material. In a November 20, 2025 feature, Wallpaper attributed this explanation to Bell & Ross CEO Carlos Rosillo: “We want the watch to be as readable as possible day or night, of course, but the point here is [this use of luminescent material] means that the watch looks totally different at night from during the day,” Wallpaper reports. That statement describes the brand’s intent; it is not a quantified claim about brightness or how long the lume lasts.
