The 2026 Chronoswiss Lunar Chronograph Aurora, reference CH-7543L-DGR, updates the Lunar Chronograph with a guilloché dial that Chronoswiss says shifts from deep green to vibrant blue as the light changes. The automatic chronograph, date and moonphase arrangement remains central to a model whose history the brand dates to 1999.
What is new about the Chronoswiss Lunar Chronograph Aurora?
Aurora is a new interpretation of the Lunar Chronograph, rather than a redesign of its complication layout. Chronoswiss describes the aim as reinterpreting a classic “through the lens of Modern Mechanical.” The prominent change is the dial: the brand describes it as fully CVD-coated, while its technical sheet identifies the surface as guilloché-decorated. Chronoswiss says the color moves from deep green to vibrant blue; the effect may vary with the light and viewing conditions, and is a brand description rather than an independently measured color shift.
The watch pairs that dial with a dark grey nubuck leather strap. Its signature onion crown and the polished bezel’s partial knurling retain the model’s distinctive, traditional styling.
What complications and layout does it use?
The automatic chronograph combines center chronograph seconds with a 30-minute counter and a 12-hour counter. The dial also carries small seconds, an analogue date and a moonphase, which the manufacturer places at 3 o’clock. The functional package is familiar in outline; Aurora’s identity comes chiefly from the new dial treatment.

Who is the Aurora for?
The CH-7543L-DGR will make the most sense to someone drawn to a mechanically detailed chronograph with additional date and moonphase displays, and who values a distinctive dial over a restrained, conventional finish. Its 41 mm case and 15 mm height are useful fit considerations, while the 100 m / 10 ATM rating is the manufacturer’s stated water resistance. The available sources do not establish independent accuracy, durability, production volume or sales figures, so those should not be inferred from the specifications.
