What defines the design?
A repeating geometric motif
The hexagonal pattern is the most recognizable thread across the collaboration. On the original, Hublot says it appears in the titanium mesh, sapphire dial, case, case back, and rubber strap. A collaboration rooted in sculpture
Hublot’s 2022 launch account says the watch grew out of Ross’s REFORM sculpture, made for the company’s 40th anniversary. The brand describes the partnership as extending beyond the watch to packaging, communication, and visual identity. The 2022 announcement gives the calibre’s 282 components and 3 Hz beat rate; Hublot’s 2023 announcement also identifies 282 components and a 72-hour reserve. The current Carbon product page confirms the 72-hour reserve but does not repeat the component count or beat rate, so those two figures are attributed to the earlier announcements.
