Its skeletonized dial opens up the familiar Joker face to reveal the proprietary indication module: the eyes show hours and minutes, while the moonphase display forms the mouth. The manufacturer’s current specification table lists a 40 mm titanium case and an automatic K.18-21 movement, although older launch-era descriptions on the same product page name a different calibre and case size.
What is the Joker Fiat Lux?
Fiat Lux—“let there be light,” in the manufacturer’s description—is a face-shaped mechanical watch that reworks Chaykin’s Joker design. It belongs to Wristmons, the maker’s collection of anthropomorphic watches. The edition is limited to 38 pieces, according to Konstantin Chaykin Manufacture and specialist coverage.
The layout retains the Joker’s signature expression: eye-like registers indicate hours and minutes, and a moonphase display acts as the mouth. The key change is the openworked, or skeletonized, dial, which lets the wearer see the proprietary indication module from the front.
Why does the dial look this way?
Konstantin Chaykin says he set out to skeletonize the original Joker dial. He also describes the design as an image of light passing through a bamboo curtain, drawing on Chinese poetic imagery and the idea of sun or moon rays. In his words: “My main idea was to skeletonize the dial of the original Joker watch.” He explains the second motif as “the idea of playing with the poetic theme of sun rays – or perhaps moon rays, penetrating through the bamboo curtain when designing the skeletonized dial.”

Chaykin also says he wanted to connect different cultures through the theme. The manufacturer describes the dial as silver-plated, black-coated and decorated with a Clous de Paris guilloché motif, multilayer varnish, and pad-printed markers and logo.
Current production specifications
The manufacturer’s current specification table gives the following details. Its product-page narrative still uses older movement information, so the table below reflects the table’s current figures rather than silently combining the two descriptions.

The manufacturer calls Fiat Lux its first Joker with an exhibition caseback and a dial-side view of the proprietary module. It describes the rotor as sun-like and says the skeletonization and sapphire caseback reduce the watch’s weight by about 15 grams; these are the maker’s claims.
Why do published specifications differ?
The product page is not internally consistent. Its current specification table lists K.18-21 with a modified ETA 2892A2 base, a 42-hour reserve and a 40 mm case. Its narrative instead describes K.07-0 based on ETA 2824-2. A February 16, 2025 report by Fratello Watches also identifies the older K.07-0/ETA 2824-2 configuration and gives a 38-hour reserve. Fratello’s specification block says 42 mm, while its article text says 40 mm.

These descriptions should be treated as different dated accounts, not interchangeable specifications. For the current production model, the manufacturer’s live table is the clearest reference; the older narrative and 2025 report document launch-era descriptions.
Production watch versus the 2024 prototype
The production edition should also be distinguished from a unique prototype catalogued by Phillips. Phillips describes that 2024 example as stainless steel, 42 mm, case 00/38, with a K07-0 movement and 25 jewels. It is not the same reference as the titanium production watch described in the current manufacturer table.

The Phillips result is an auction price for that individual prototype, not a retail price for the production edition.

Fratello reported a retail price of €41,000 in February 2025. Blue Lake Watches displayed CHF 38,000 on its product page, but the page was marked sold out and also contained conflicting stock text. Neither figure establishes a live offer or current availability. No current retail price or inventory status is confirmed by these dated listings.
