The report says the new model replaces the Adventure Sport 42mm. Norqain’s official confirmation and current availability have not been independently established here, so launch details and prices below are attributed to Monochrome.
What changes with the 40mm Adventure?
The reported dimensions are 40mm across, 12.55mm thick and 48.30mm from lug to lug. That places it between the earlier Adventure Sport 42mm and Adventure 37mm in diameter. Monochrome describes the new model as replacing the 42mm version; it does not provide a wrist test or a detailed side-by-side specification sheet for the predecessor.
The case gains crown guards and a more pronounced polished bevel. The bezel insert changes from ceramic to aluminium. The unidirectional bezel has a 60-minute scale. These are reported design changes, not conclusions from a hands-on comparison.
Dial, hands and date
The reported dial options are grey and dark green, each with an embossed mountain pattern and a matching bezel insert. Redesigned hands and markers use light blue or light grey Super-LumiNova. The date display moves to a circular window at 6 o’clock.

The rubber strap also receives a mountain-inspired pattern. A stainless-steel bracelet is another reported configuration; the launch article does not establish compatibility with other or replacement straps.
Movement and specifications
Monochrome reports that the Norqain Calibre N08 remains based on the Sellita SW200-1, but now carries COSC chronometer certification. The published specifications list 26 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a 41-hour power reserve. These are reported specifications, not independent timing-test results.
The specification block also lists a screw-down crown, domed sapphire crystal, sapphire caseback and water resistance to 200 metres. Those figures and features are from Monochrome’s launch report.

Reported launch configurations and prices
Monochrome’s March 2, 2026 article listed three configurations and prices in euros. These are launch-report prices, not verified current prices.

How it compares with the earlier 42mm model
The supported comparison is a change in case size and length, bezel insert material, case guards and finishing, dial texture and layout, movement certification, and reported strap or bracelet offerings. The launch report does not establish comparative wrist comfort, timing performance, or every specification difference between the two generations. It supports calling the 40mm model a substantial redesign with a certification update, rather than claiming a measured performance improvement.
