Reference WBN2340.FC8329 is a Carrera Date in polished 18K white gold, fitted with a black alligator strap and pin buckle. TAG Heuer’s current product page lists a 36 mm case, Calibre 7 automatic movement, date display, sapphire caseback and 50 m water resistance. Are the diamonds real or lab grown?
TAG Heuer describes the stones as lab-grown diamonds. The dial is a 2.9-carat polycrystalline lab-grown diamond surface, set within 12 baguette-cut lab-grown diamond indexes totaling 0.5 carat. A single 1.3-carat fancy light-pink lab-grown diamond forms the crown; the TAG Heuer shield carries a separate 0.1-carat diamond. The brand’s disclosed figures describe the individual components; they should not be mistaken for a single total-carats figure for the watch.
What does “Plasma” mean?
TAG Heuer says its Plasma technology uses a laboratory chemical process in which conditions can be controlled to shape and color lab-grown diamonds. The company placed the pink Carrera Date Plasma in the Carrera’s 60th-anniversary context in 2023. TAG Heuer’s explanation of Plasma technology describes the process.

The current TAG Heuer listing is marked “Price on demand,” rather than giving a public numerical price. The documented yellow sibling is reference WBN2344.FC8335. It retains the 36 mm white-gold case and Calibre 7 architecture, while changing the signature stone color. TAG Heuer says the yellow watch carries 4.8 carats of lab-grown diamonds, including a 1.3-carat yellow diamond crown; the company identifies the pink version as its 2023 predecessor, presented at Watches and Wonders that year.
