Which Belisar Chronograph Sport was introduced in 2024?
Monochrome Watches reported the launch of the black D014.927.16.057.00 on 16 September 2024, listing it at €3,900. Its account describes a black ceramic bezel, DLC-coated case flanks, textured black dial, yellow chronograph accents, and two supplied straps. Monochrome also identifies the UNG-27SI movement as based on the Valjoux 7750; that base-caliber detail is Monochrome’s attribution, not a claim made on the manufacturer’s product page. The manufacturer’s current catalog lists that textile-and-calfskin configuration separately from a steel-bracelet version, D014.927.11.057.00. The choice is therefore largely about what comes attached and included: select the textile-and-calfskin package if you prefer those strap options, or the steel bracelet if you want a bracelet with an extra textile strap. The listed dimensions and water-resistance ratings are the same for both references.

What the steel-bracelet model offers
For D014.927.11.057.00, Union Glashütte specifies a stainless-steel case with DLC-coated flanks, a ceramic tachymeter bezel, black dial, and sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both faces. The steel bracelet is paired with an additional textile strap; the manufacturer says quick-release spring bars make strap changes possible without tools. The listing gives a weight of 183 g.
At 43 mm across, 51.76 mm lug-to-lug and 14.7 mm thick, it has substantial stated dimensions. The 20 mm lug width is useful when checking strap sizing, but does not by itself establish that any third-party strap will fit or be suitable. The manufacturer lists strap references D605004508 and D61004282 for this configuration; confirm fit and availability with the seller or manufacturer before ordering.
Movement, chronograph and reserve
The manufacturer lists caliber UNG-27.S1, an automatic movement with a silicon balance spring, 29 jewels, and a minimum power reserve of 65 hours. Its listed frequency is 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4 Hz. The chronograph has counters for 60 seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours; the watch also provides date and small seconds. The manufacturer’s caliber label is UNG-27.S1, while Monochrome’s 2024 launch article uses the spelling UNG-27SI and attributes a Valjoux 7750 base to it.

Water resistance and warranty
Union Glashütte rates both references to 10 bar (100 m) and lists a two-year warranty for the steel-bracelet configuration. A rating is a manufacturer specification, not a guarantee that the watch is suitable for every water activity or that it will retain its resistance indefinitely. The manufacturer recommends periodic water-resistance checks through authorized partners; consult its current guidance and the warranty terms for care and service details.
What “Made in Glashütte” means here
Union Glashütte’s 2025–2026 catalog says the company was founded by Johannes Dürrstein in 1893. It describes “Made in Glashütte” as a legally protected designation and states that more than 50 percent of a movement’s value added must be produced in Glashütte for a watch to bear it. The same catalog says the brand’s watches are assembled, regulated and inspected in its Glashütte atelier. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions of the origin rule and its own production process.
