Oracle Time listed it at £415 in an August 2024 review; the official pages checked for this article showed the Lake Blue model at €620 and sold out, while the Dark Brown model was also sold out and displayed an implausible €0.00. Treat those as dated or unavailable listings, not a current deal.
What you get in the J&Berg B2
The B2 is a small-format automatic watch built around a sand-blasted Grade 5 titanium case and a recessed, two-layer dial. Its published dimensions are 38.5 mm across, 45.2 mm lug-to-lug and 10.4 mm thick, including the crystal. The stated weight is 53 g, and the lugs are 20 mm wide. These measurements point to a compact, light watch, though fit depends on wrist shape and personal preference.
The crystal is flat sapphire with an inner anti-reflective coating. The dial’s recessed construction creates its layered appearance, with BGW9 Super-Luminova for the luminous material. The official pages list Dark Brown and Lake Blue dial variants.

The specifications are published by J&BERG; they are not independent test results. Oracle Time’s hands-on review also lists manual winding, 24 jewels and a 4 Hz beat rate.

How the B2 is positioned on wrist
The dimensions and 53 g stated weight make the B2 an option for someone seeking a smaller, light-feeling automatic rather than a large, heavy wrist presence. Michael Sonsino, Oracle Time’s Digital Editor, wrote in his 13 August 2024 review that “it barely feels like you’re wearing a watch.” That is his wearing impression, not a claim based on a documented fit test across different wrists. He also praised the dial’s balance of detail and restraint, while noting that he would have preferred the raised black layer to be thinner.
The 20 mm lug width is a useful starting point when looking for another strap, but width alone does not establish compatibility. Check the specific strap attachment and buckle details before ordering.

Movement and water resistance
J&BERG specifies the Miyota 9039 automatic movement and a 42-hour running time. Oracle Time additionally lists manual winding, 24 jewels and a 4 Hz beat rate. The brand and review state a 10 ATM / 100 m water-resistance rating; that rating should not be confused with a stated diving certification. The available evidence does not establish independent water-resistance, accuracy or durability test results.
Is the J&Berg B2 actually affordable?
There is no well-supported basis for calling the B2 a bargain at today’s price: the available price references are not a current, in-stock offer and do not establish how it compares with the broader market. Oracle Time listed £415 in its review published 13 August 2024, describing the price as accessible for a Grade 5 titanium automatic in that context. That is a dated UK figure, not a current quote or a market-wide affordability measure.

When checked for this article, J&BERG’s Lake Blue listing displayed €620, referred to EU VAT and showed “Sold Out.” The Dark Brown listing also showed “Sold Out” but displayed €0.00, which is not a credible purchase price. Confirm the live listing, stock status and delivered price with the seller before deciding.
