What is the Harmony 39 GMT Sarab?
It is a limited-edition automatic GMT watch from Tedoro, built around a 39 mm stainless-steel case and an integrated H-link bracelet. How does the dial look, and is it easy to read?
A patterned mother-of-pearl surface
Oracle Time describes the dial as interconnected mother-of-pearl tiles over an ivory base, with green and purple iridescence. Time+Tide also describes the geometric mother-of-pearl construction. Both accounts point to a dial whose appearance changes with the light rather than a flat, uniform surface. Tedoro’s name for the dial, “Sarab,” means mirage, reflecting that shifting visual effect.
Eastern Arabic numerals and the GMT scale
Eastern Arabic numerals mark the hours, with a date window at 3 o’clock. A peripheral 24-hour scale tracks the GMT hand; its sand-and-white division distinguishes day from night. The combination gives the watch a strong regional design identity, but the ornament and iridescence make this a more expressive dial than a minimalist tool-watch layout. Neither source establishes measured legibility in different lighting, so treat ease of reading as a personal preference rather than a tested result.

Oracle Time describes the bracelet as having alternating brushed and polished finishes and a butterfly clasp. Time+Tide notes removable links and quick-release spring bars, and discusses Tedoro leather and rubber strap options, but does not establish that those straps fit this exact 39 GMT reference. Confirm reference-specific compatibility before buying an alternate strap.
How does the true-GMT movement work?
The Miyota 9075 is identified by Oracle Time as a true-GMT movement. In its description, the local hour hand jumps in one-hour increments through the crown while the other displayed timekeeping indications remain set. That is useful for travel: you can adjust the local hour to a new time zone without resetting the GMT hand used to track another zone.

Oracle Time reports a 42-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Al Shahab lists the same caliber and describes the reserve less precisely as approximately 40-plus hours. These are published specifications, not independent measurements of this particular watch’s performance. The available sources do not establish its accuracy or reliability in use.
Who is this watch best suited to?
- Consider it if you want a true-GMT function with a jumping local hour, a 39 mm case, and a dial that stands out through material and pattern rather than restrained finishing.
- Think carefully if you prioritize an especially sparse, high-contrast dial or need independently verified bracelet and strap fit before purchase.

Tedoro’s official limited-edition collection lists the Harmony 39 GMT Sarab at $960. Al Shahab lists it at KWD 295 as SKU HG25LIP. Those are source-listed prices in different currencies and should not be treated as a direct currency conversion or as a guarantee of final regional cost.
