The Hunter is listed with a 42 mm bezel diameter, 40 mm mid-case diameter, 12.5 mm thickness, and 47 mm lug-to-lug. Its lug width is 20 mm. Jack Mason lists the same key dimensions for the Shadow. These are the manufacturer’s measurements, not independent measurements.

The difference between the 42 mm bezel and 40 mm mid-case matters when judging wrist presence: the watch’s broadest stated diameter is at the bezel, while the narrower mid-case can make the body read less wide than the headline bezel number alone suggests. The 47 mm lug-to-lug gives a more direct indication of how far the watch spans across the wrist. If you are unsure about fit, compare that span and the 12.5 mm thickness with a watch you already wear comfortably; wrist fit depends on wrist shape as well as circumference.

The Pursuit Pro uses a Swiss automatic La Joux Perret G101 movement with hours, minutes, and running seconds. Jack Mason specifies a 68-hour power reserve, so a fully wound watch can run for longer than a typical two-day interval when not worn, subject to the actual state of wind and use.

Jack Mason says each movement is individually inspected, regulated, and measured in six positions by American watchmakers to ensure performance within a tolerance of ±5 seconds per day. That is the manufacturer’s stated regulation target, not an independently verified accuracy result. Actual timekeeping can vary by individual watch, position, wear, and service condition. The brand describes the watch as American assembled; that is a manufacturer description, not an independently established assessment of the assembly process. What are the water-resistance and protection specifications?
Jack Mason rates the Pursuit Pro at 20 ATM / 200 m and lists a screw-down crown, sapphire crystal, ceramic 120-click bezel, and soft-iron magnetic protection. The brand says a case-and-bezel guard protects the ceramic insert and that a soft-iron cage shields the movement from magnetic fields. These are stated specifications and manufacturer descriptions; they are not independent test results. The 200 m figure should be understood as the watch’s published rating, not a guarantee of suitability for every activity or condition.

What strap comes with it, and can you change it?
The supplied attachment is a 20 mm nylon strap with a hook-and-loop closure and quick-release pins. That arrangement makes strap changes convenient in principle, but the watch’s lug width alone does not establish that every third-party strap or pin will fit securely. Confirm the strap’s width and pin compatibility before ordering an alternative.

The narrower 40 mm mid-case may also appeal if you want the bezel presence of a larger watch without the full diameter continuing through the case.

The trade-off is straightforward: at the current listed price, you are paying for the full package and its design, not just the movement or water rating. The maker’s ±5 seconds-per-day figure is a specification rather than a result established by independent testing, and the included nylon hook-and-loop strap may not match preferences for a bracelet or rubber.
