Both retailer listings specify a 48 mm case. That measurement makes fit an important consideration, particularly if you prefer compact watches or have a smaller wrist. Case diameter alone does not establish how the watch wears: lug-to-lug length and other fit details are not stated in the cited descriptions.

The references have different movement and display details
Slate Watch Company names the L21.1202’s movement as a Miyota OS20 and lists a 24-hour display alongside the date and chronograph. BensonTrade gives the L21.1201’s movement only as “Miyota quartz” and lists chronograph and date functions. The more specific L21.1202 details should not be generalized to every Oryx.
Crystal and thickness descriptions differ
BensonTrade calls the L21.1201’s crystal hardened mineral glass and gives a 14 mm case depth. Slate Watch Company describes the L21.1202 crystal as sapphire-coated reinforced mineral and lists 15 mm thickness. Because the descriptions concern different references, confirm the details against the exact seller listing rather than treating either description as a universal Oryx specification.

Water resistance is a seller claim
Both listings state 100 m / 10 ATM, but the available information does not include manufacturer documentation or an independent water-resistance test. Do not treat a retailer’s rating as proof of a particular use being suitable; check the watch’s documentation and the seller’s guidance for the exact reference.

The L21.1202 listing adds a named OS20 movement and 24-hour display, while the L21.1201 listing specifies hardened mineral glass and a two-year warranty from BensonTrade. Those differences may help narrow a choice, but they do not establish which reference is better overall: the available descriptions do not provide independent comparative testing, service information or a consistent set of specifications for both models.

- That the item is the intended reference, L21.1201 or L21.1202.
- Case dimensions, including thickness and any available lug-to-lug measurement.
