Lesablier Review: Is the LS-04 Travelgraph the Right Worldtimer?

The automatic Lesablier LS-04 Travelgraph pairs an independently adjustable local-hour hand with a city-ring world-time display. Here’s how it works, what reviewers report, and what remains uncertain about buying one now.

The Lesablier LS-04 Travelgraph is an automatic worldtimer for someone who wants to track another time zone without giving up an independently adjustable local-hour hand. Its 40 mm steel case and 100 m water resistance give it a sporty, everyday-watch profile, while the city ring and 24-hour disc take a little practice to read. Published reviews describe a compact fit for its dimensions, but they differ on thickness, and current price and purchase terms are not confirmed.

What is the Lesablier LS-04 Travelgraph?

The Travelgraph is an automatic world-time watch from Lesablier, a microbrand founded in 2017 by Akbar, who is from the Washington, D.C. area, according to Fratello’s May 10, 2024 review. The brand name means “the hourglass” in French, Fratello reports. The LS-04 is the model at the center of the available independent reviews; the assessments below are those reviewers’ impressions, not hands-on testing by WatchRanker.

How does the world-time display work?

The Travelgraph uses a city ring alongside a rotating 24-hour disc. Match a city on the ring with the corresponding position on the disc to read the time in that zone; the 24-hour scale distinguishes day from night. The Miyota 9075 base movement is modified to drive this arrangement. Its independent hour hand can be adjusted to local time while the home-time setting is retained, a useful distinction from a simple second-time-zone display that requires resetting the main time.

Watch Clicker says the layout takes a minute or two to get used to, then becomes easier to interpret. If you expect to glance at a conventional GMT hand and a familiar 24-hour bezel, allow for a short learning curve: this display depends on reading the city names and disc together.

Lesablier Travelgraph specifications

Specification Published detail
Case 40 mm stainless steel; Fratello reports 44 mm lug-to-lug.
Thickness 12.8 mm, as listed by Watch Clicker; 14 mm including the crystal, as listed by Fratello. The measurements differ between reviews.
Crystal Double-domed sapphire, according to Fratello; Watch Clicker also specifies sapphire.
Water resistance 100 m, as reported by both reviews.
Movement Miyota 9075 base movement, modified for the city ring and 24-hour disc.
Power reserve and jewels 42 hours and 24 jewels, listed by Fratello.
Lug width 20 mm, listed by Watch Clicker.

Sources: Fratello and Watch Clicker. Fratello’s technical specification block and article body give different movement frequencies, so no beat rate is stated here.

Case, dial and wrist fit

The reviewed versions are Constellation, with a blue aventurine dial; Midnight, with a black sunburst finish; and Azzuro, with an ice-blue sunburst finish. Fratello says the versions differ in dial color and finish. The multi-ring world-time layout is visually busier than a conventional three-hand dial, so legibility depends partly on whether you enjoy that information-rich look.

MIDO Ocean Star Decompression Worldtimer - Swiss Automatic GMT Watch for Men - Blue Dial - Stainless Steel 40.5mm Case - M0268291704100
  • Swiss Made Watch
  • Movement: Automatic MIDO caliber with GMT function and Date calendar - Power reserve 80 hours
  • Case Type: Diver-style stainless steel case with blue rotating bezel - Capable of withstanding pressures of up to 20 bar (200 m/660 ft), and equipped with a screw-down crown, this diver watch offers optimal protection against water.
  • Case Size: 40.5mm - Case Thickness: 13.43mm - Decompression worldtimer design blue dial offering hand and indexes filled with Super-Luminova - Crystal: Glassbox-style sapphire crystal.
  • Band Type: Stainless steel milanese bracelet with sliding clasp Additional rubber strap with pin buckle closure included- Lug Width: 21mm

Both reviews give the case a 40 mm diameter and 44 mm lug-to-lug measurement. Fratello’s reviewer found the shorter lug span helpful on a 17 cm wrist, while noting that bracelet articulation made the watch wear somewhat larger than the dimensions alone suggest. Watch Clicker similarly found it looked large before wearing it but felt relatively compact on wrist. Those are individual fit impressions, not a guarantee; case thickness is also reported differently, at 12.8 mm by Watch Clicker and 14 mm including the crystal by Fratello.

What did reviewers like, and what should you weigh?

  • Useful travel-time adjustment: The independently adjustable local-hour hand lets you change local time without losing the home-time setting.
  • Distinctive, information-rich display: The city ring and 24-hour disc provide a world-time readout, but take some getting used to.
  • Sporty proportions: The reviewed 40 mm width and 44 mm lug-to-lug span were described as manageable by both reviewers, though fit varies and bracelet articulation may affect the feel.
  • Everyday-oriented materials and resistance: Reviews report sapphire crystal and 100 m water resistance. These specifications do not by themselves establish suitability for every water activity; follow the maker’s guidance for actual use.
  • Purchase uncertainty: The available price references are from 2024, and current stock and seller terms have not been confirmed.

Price and availability: what is known

Fratello listed launch-period prices of US$795 or US$885 depending on version, as well as lower pre-order prices; Watch Clicker listed US$795. These are historical 2024 figures, not verified current prices or offers. The official Lesablier site could not be retrieved on October 8, 2026, so current availability, price, ordering geography, warranty, shipping and return terms remain unconfirmed. Check the brand or seller directly and verify the exact LS-04 version and applicable terms before ordering.

Who should consider the Travelgraph?

The LS-04 is most compelling for a buyer who will use a world-time display, likes a sporty multi-ring dial, and values changing local hour independently from home time. It is less suited to someone who wants the quickest possible time-zone glance, a minimalist dial, or a purchase decision based on confirmed current pricing and warranty information. Its reported 100 m water resistance, sapphire crystal and compact lug-to-lug dimensions make it more versatile on paper than a delicate dress-style travel watch, but the display and fit should be judged against your own preferences.
