Maurice Lacroix lists it at €4,350 including VAT on its Western Europe product page; that is a regional listing, not a universal price. The available hands-on account is Angus Davies’s week with the earlier AI6038-TT032-330-1, so his comfort impressions should not be mistaken for a personal test of the current reference.
What is the current AIKON titanium chronograph?
The current reference covered here is AI6038-TT032-530-1, identified on Maurice Lacroix’s Western Europe product page. It is the gold-dial version with black counters. The brand announced titanium versions of the 42 mm AIKON Automatic and 44 mm AIKON Automatic Chronograph on 29 August 2024, including purple- and gold-dial chronographs; the launch announcement provides context, while the product page is the source for this reference’s detailed specification.
The chronograph combines a large titanium case and bracelet with a textured square-motif dial, three counters and day-date. That makes it a substantial sports watch rather than a compact, understated chronograph. Its appeal rests on the mix of lightweight metal, elaborate dial and bracelet, mechanical timing functions, and a notably high water-resistance rating.

How does the titanium AIKON chronograph wear?
At 44 mm across and 15 mm high, the watch has dimensions that will be prominent on the wrist. Titanium can help reduce the burden of a large case, but the published specification does not state the current reference’s weight. There is no basis here for promising that it will fit or feel comfortable on every wrist.
Angus Davies of Escapement wore the earlier AI6038-TT032-330-1 for one week. He described its Grade 5 titanium case, contrast between brushed and polished surfaces, bracelet fit and legibility, and said that the large watch did not feel unduly cumbersome and was comfortable to wear. That is one reviewer’s subjective experience of the older reference—not a general fit guarantee or a wear test of AI6038-TT032-530-1. Read his 2021 hands-on review with that distinction in mind.

- 44mm Titanium Case: Polished & Sandblasted Finish
- 25-Jewel Automatic Movement
- Timekeeping: Hours, Minutes, Seconds
- Black Dial: Sunburst Brushing, Polished Rings
- Automatic Chronograph: 12-Hour, 30-Minute, Day & Date
The current official listing confirms a sandblasted and polished titanium case but does not specify a titanium grade. The 2024 collection announcement mentions Grade 5 titanium accents; Davies’s description of Grade 5 concerns the earlier watch. Those details should not be expanded into a claim that every titanium component of the current reference is Grade 5.
What do the dial and chronograph displays do?
The current gold dial uses a square-motif texture and black subdials. At 12 o’clock, the 30-minute chronograph counter records elapsed minutes; the 12-hour counter sits at 6, and small seconds are at 9. A central hand records chronograph seconds. The day and date appear at 3, leaving the subdials distributed around the dial rather than grouped together.

- Stainless Steel Case: 39mm
- Screwed Down Crown
- Brushed and Polished Finish
- Bezel with Six "Claws" Settings
- Sapphire Crystal with Double Anti-Reflective Coating
The arrangement gives the watch several jobs beyond timekeeping, but it also makes for a busy face. Maurice Lacroix’s 2024 collection announcement describes luminescent treatment on the titanium chronographs. The brand’s exact product page should be consulted for the selected dial variant and its current details.
Movement: what is confirmed about the ML112?
Maurice Lacroix specifies the automatic ML112, with a 48-hour power reserve, 28,800 vibrations per hour and 25 jewels. Escapement reports the same headline movement figures for the earlier AI6038-TT032-330-1.

Time+Tide describes the ML112 as derived from the ETA/Valjoux 7750 layout, but says it is unclear whether Maurice Lacroix shifted supply to the Sellita SW500 clone. Those movements can share headline specifications, which do not by themselves establish the supplier or base movement in a given watch. The named caliber and its published figures are clear; the underlying supply or base is not conclusively established in the available independent discussion. See Time+Tide’s introduction for its account.

The current listing is AI6038-TT032-530-1; Davies’s 2021 review covers AI6038-TT032-330-1. The most important practical difference to keep straight is the quoted price and the fact that the review concerns the older reference. The available source material does not establish a full component-by-component change history between the two.

The €3,950 figure is a dated 2021 RRP for the older watch, not a current price for the gold-dial AI6038-TT032-530-1. Likewise, the reviewed bracelet’s five-row construction and butterfly buckle are details Davies gives for the earlier reference, not independently confirmed construction details for the current one. The current product page does confirm a titanium bracelet and easy-change system.
Is the AIKON Automatic Titanium Chronograph worth considering?
It is worth considering if you want a large, feature-rich titanium chronograph and value the day-date, sapphire display back, 200 m rating and integrated titanium bracelet. The 44 mm diameter and 15 mm height are central to the decision: the watch is not a small or slim option, and the available comfort report applies only to one person wearing the earlier reference.
The current Western Europe listing sets the price context at €4,350 including VAT, but availability, price and purchase terms can vary by region and time. Confirm the exact reference, dial, current price and seller before purchase. The brand’s product page describes the watch as “the ideal accompaniment to city life”; that is Maurice Lacroix’s own marketing language, rather than an independent assessment.
