The Maurice Lacroix AIKON Automatic Wotto Limited Edition pairs a 42 mm steel AIKON with Wotto’s illustrated characters and engraved motifs. Announced on 11 March 2025 as part of the brand’s Urban Tribe series, it is limited to 1,000 pieces, according to Maurice Lacroix. The available accounts describe the design and specifications, but do not establish current availability or provide independent wear testing.
A Wotto design in the Urban Tribe series
Maurice Lacroix says Urban Tribe began with a 2021 engraved AIKON by Hungarian artist Timeengraver, which inspired earlier models in the series. Wotto, the artist name of Craig Watkins, says he had worked with Timeengraver before Maurice Lacroix approached him to design an engraved watch. The brand announced the Wotto edition on 11 March 2025 as a new entry in that series.
The production limit is 1,000 pieces, as stated in the Maurice Lacroix announcement. The brand described it as a “wearable masterpiece” that “doesn’t just shake up codes, it blows them out of the water”—promotional language from the announcement, rather than an independent assessment.
How the artwork shapes the watch
The 42 mm stainless-steel case has an integrated bracelet and a bezel engraved with motifs drawn from Wotto’s artwork. Maurice Lacroix emphasizes the contrast between the polished steel surfaces and the engraved decoration across the case and bracelet.

A gray dial provides the backdrop for a colorful ring of Wotto’s characters, while the indexes remain visually restrained. The brand calls out mushrooms, hearts, skateboarding ghosts, lightning flashes and Wotto’s signature “W” among the illustrations. The result places the artwork around the dial and on the steel, rather than relying on a densely decorated field of markers.

What Wotto says about the collaboration and price
In his account of the collaboration, Wotto says he spent two years designing the watch. He describes its theme as “life lines,” tracing a journey from cradle to grave, and says some ideas are intentionally left for owners to discover. Those details come from the artist’s own account.
Wotto’s post reports a $3,300 retail price, but does not identify a market or establish that the figure remains current. The Maurice Lacroix announcement cited above does not state a price. Current stock and transaction prices are likewise not established by these sources.
